Apecode is more reliable. So, that means it's likely that you are getting your MacBook Pro tomorrow! Congrats.
 
Well it has finally arrived at the 'destination' after having spent the long weekend in customs. I'm off to pick it up in about 15 minutes.

To sum up; This is a replacement SR MBP which was put into the build order que on the 27th of August, was ready for shipping on the 29th, left Shanghai at 4:00 pm Shanghai time on the 29th. Arrived at destination on the 4th September. A total of 9 days elapsed.

Very fast!!

You have it all wrong. You have to remember that when these shipments leave China, they are on pallets & placed into containers. There are hundreds if not thousands shipping at one time, there is no way in he!! that they can take the time to separate out the entire shipment to find your package. It will leave China pass through Anchorage and then usually on to Indianapolis where the containers are then emptied and the packages are sorted to be forwarded on to the final destination. The first chance that they can intervene would be Indianapolis. I think that Indianapolis is for the eastern part of the US, it could be that for the western part of the US they actually might go into a location further towards the west coast which could explain the further delay. You wanted it in FL originally and now you are requesting CA. Not FedEX's fault.

All you say make perfectly sense to me.Even if the sorting facility is Indianapolis , why does the "individual" package has to reach FL before gets rerouted?
CS Manager told me that Apple's logistic's dept needs 2 days to process the rerouting.. Fedex is on the clear and never blamed. They are shipping stuff for a living and they have proven that they care about customer satisfaction.
On the other hand, I will need to wait and see, then judge Apple, as a customer. So far they have thumbs way down with their corespondance.
 
My MAC was delivered yesterday! But alas I am at University and I have to drive home tomorrow to pick it up! But it is worth the gas... 😀
 
Mine was delivered after 3 weeks waiting...at first i thought it had the yellowish screen but i guess not..i had an even lid but could live with it...now it does not read all my DVDs...when my windows PC does...i have called the tech guys and after some tests they concluded it is abnormal and that i have a HW issue...so i need to exchange it!!! Really pissed! the good thing is that the new one is on order already and the defective not yet picked up by the TNT guy...i hope they'll be late picking it up...

I've ordered the exact MBP set up as you. I reach my "Ship By" date window beginning tomorrow!!! So I'm pumped to see my status begin to change soooon.🙂

Turns out the ETA from apecode was for the laptop getting to the distributer...

So now its with UPS and apple is saying 7th September.

How likely is it to arrive tomorrow? Seeing as UPS only got it today
 
i ordered a SR MBP on august 24th along with an iPod and CS3

Already have iPod and CS3, but the MBP still hasn't shipped🙁

Patiently waiting...

Prepared for shipment!!! Can anyone tell me how long it will remain "prepared" until it ships?? My MacBook was delivered from China only 2 days after it shipped so i hope this does the same. Thanx
 
Hey all,

My 2.2, 160gig matte is in. Ordered on the 21st, popped up in China this Sunday, and arrived in Canada this morning. So far it has been perfect (except battlefield 2142, but that's another story). Also, the screen is so bright and clear that it makes my acer LCD look like a hobo.
 
positive thinking....

I've now convinced myself that today (friday) will be the day that my MBP - ordered on 27 Aug - is going to turn from "Not yet shipped" to "Prepared to ship"...

...but i could be fooling myself.....🙁

HEY! Another Aug. 27 Order Date!! Man, I'm hitting that Order Status button 2-3 times per day waiting for the status change!😉 I'm in there with ya bud. I think we'll see the status change either Friday or Saturday.

This is my VERY first Mac!.......PC Convert here. I cannot wait!

I Hope us Aug 29thers will be in the same boat as you guys! I've been DYING waiting my 2.4 glossy to ship, its killing me! first time mac user as well.
