Much of the same:
"I am sorry that the delivery date is not visible. With these type of shipments we have a contractual agreement with some shippers, which limits the amount of packages that can be handed over to UPS on any given day, when this amount is exceeded, as in this case, the packages may experience delays.
We need to first complete those packages that were given to us in previous days before we can export those that were recently shipped.
Due to the terms we have agreed with Apple the movement of the shipment may be resumed until space becomes available.
My best advise is to keep on tracking the package on ups.com for further updates.
I am sorry to hear that your shipment has not been processed as the other. Perhaps Apple is transporting them to different locations. I know that was the case with a few shipments on Friday.
It seems that depending on where Apple first hands us the shipment, need to first complete those packages that were given to us in previous days before we can export those that were recently shipped. Due to the terms we have agreed with Apple the movement of the shipment may be resumed until space becomes available.
The original delivery date provided is pending normal customs clearance. We need to comply with the agreement we have with Apple. I can assure you the shipment is not shelved any place at a hub. We need to wait to complete the number of packages to be shipped out together out of China.
The scans you see related to customs are an electronic communication between the origin and destination country which is required for customs clearance.
This is initiated ahead of time to avoid delays at customs.
The package was not physically at that location on that date.
I'd recommend you to continue monitoring your shipment on ups.com to be able to see further updates."
This still doesn't explain why packages with later posting dates are being sent out of china before those with earlier posting dates.
