Here is the tracking progress of my last iPhone X order. Out for delivery today to Boca Raton, FL.

Looks like your phone arrived twice (once in Miami and once in Hialeah, haha), did you get 2 of them :D

I realize it's just a phone, and nothing to get upset about. God knows there are more important things to worry about in the world these days.

But continuing to see folks receive their phones when their ship date is days after mine is frustrating.
Seeing folks who ordered after I ordered receive their phone before mine is frustrating.
Spending a week watching my phone sit in China and then Korea is frustrating.
Knowing there is ample inventory at the Apple Store down the road from me and having to instead wait for my preorder that I got up in the middle of the night to place is frustrating.

My original UPS delivery date was tomorrow. With my phone still sitting in Korea, that's not going to happen. Apple's delivery date of 10/20 is possible I suppose, but sheesh.

So, no clearly no bump for an 11/17-11/24 shipment here.

I would say it's just as likely for it to arrive after 11/24 than before.

Same as me. 8 days and still in Asia. Unprecedented in my experience dealing with Apple, or UPS.

My status still matches Dwilson0311 and PastaPrimav. Mine is scheduled for delivery today and I even selected a 2 hour time window with UPS My Choice.

I'm guessing that our phones are in a small bundle/pallet so both UPS and Apple make it a low priority for shipping processing in China and Korea because statistically it won't hurt them much for their on-time metrics.

I hope that’s not the case. I keep hoping that once I get off from work in about an hour, I’ll go home and my phone will magically be there smh

Can you clue me in on the two-hour window thing? I've been a member of My Choice for a while but just learned of this the other day. I can pick what two-hour blocks throughout the day to have it delivered? Or is it typically restricted to times when my UPS driver is in my area? Like 2-4 and 4-6, etc. My driver typically shows up around 4 p.m., but if I could get that sucker in the morning on Monday I would be a fly on sh...

I agree with everything you have said. In the end, it is just a phone, but when you get up in the early hours to preorder it, and then have your shipping date constantly pushed back while others who ordered after you get them already is just infuriating - especially when you have to jump through hoops to cancel your preorder if you find one in the store. I'm not sure how Apple and UPS screwed up so badly with this launch...

We're definitely pushing it now, this is later than it has been the last few days, to see departure scans show up. Only remaining hope is seeing them pop up all at once with the arrival in AK.

Still no reports of making it onto UPS99?

Normally, I would say the fact that no one got a Departure Scan means they haven't done them yet and maybe we'll all get them once we land in Anchorage. But based on how this has gone so far, methinks there is no chance of that.

Will be interesting to see if anyone makes it onto UPS97 in a couple of hours.

The real question will be if that can still fulfill delivery tomorrow. From my experience, there is just enough time, down to the minute, to get a plane from Incheon -> Anchorage -> Louisville -> Your State -> Your Local Hub -> Your Driver in 24 hrs.

It all depends. I've seen what you described, and I've also seen delays at Louisville. The UPS97 flight also departs later than most flights out of Incheon, so that probably will add a day.

Separately, has anybody heard of someone receiving their delivery on Saturday? Still hoping for that over Monday. I live in NYC and get UPS packages on Saturday all the time (even on Sunday sometimes). Not sure if it depends on the shipping service Apple used though.

I believe that someone mentioned earlier that Apple would have had to opt in for Saturday delivery which they did not. It does seem odd that no one here got a departure scan...Guess we will know soon enough!

They land in AK in 45 mins. Let’s see what happens.

I suppose it is also possible that no iPhones were on the flight. Maybe it is filled with other packages headed from Asia to the US. In which case maybe the second flight today (UPS97) is reserved for iPhone shipments.

Mine is not the 11-17 to 11-24 date but I had a delivery date of Dec. 01-07, but received an email that both of my 256gb Black iPhone X is shipped out already. I just checked the tracking and it should be here later today. So not sure how they are distributing the pre order but I'm not really complaining cause I'm receiving mine sooner than later.

That could be the case. For UPS99, after they land in ANC, they head off to Ontario, California. For UPS97, they depart to Louisville after ANC. So do all iPhones go through Louisville? Otherwise that sucks for West Coasters like me where a landing in Ontario would have greatly increased our chances of a delivery on 11/17!

Hmm well if UPS97 is the one going Incheon > Anchorage > Louisville then it makes sense that we would be on that instead.

Honestly what the hell...

I pre-ordered my iPhone on AT&T business premier at 8:18am Eastern time (5 hours after pre order started) on 10/27/17. Model: Space Grey, 256GB. My order is still showing in progress... how in the world would you get your phone already shipped when you ordered probably after me or the same time? this is such nonsense.... AT&T is horrible

The problem is, UPS99 is the only one landing in time to catch one of the early flights to Louisville. The ones that get there early in the morning will depart and get to their destination in time for Friday delivery.

UPS97 is going to roll into Louisville at 7:45 EST...which leaves no time to fly to a destination and get on a truck that same day.

Based on previous posts, it looks like those whose orders were delivered within 24 hours of leaving Korea had flights with an earlier departure time than UPS97. So IF - and that is a big if - we are actually on UPS97, I think Monday is the most likely delivery date.

EDIT: looks like we were thinking the same thing, PastaPrimav

Just got our X’s. Have faith everyone. This was the most annoying process we’ve all experienced for an iPhone, especially at the end. It’s worth it, though. This phone is amazing!
