I am so glad I was able to order for pickup the day after launch and canceled my 11/17-11/24 order. So much heartache in this thread....

UPS is a joke! I mean if they are having issues getting these delivered, they should add more planes and routes. I am sure Apple paid them enough to get this properly done.

The only solace I take is that Apple is definitely aware of it, watching average delivery times increase to levels not seen before in Apple's recent history, seeing UPS-promised dates slip repeatedly.

This uncharacteristic for both UPS and Apple. Trust me when I say, the recipients are not the only ones noticing.

I didn’t have any trouble last year when I ordered the iPhone 7 on the first day. Got it shipped to my house on launch day without a hitch. That’s why this mess with the iPhone X is so frustrating. It’s random who got their phones early and doesn’t matter where you were in the queue when you placed your order.

I honestly have given up on any hopes of this phone being here before thanksgiving.

So if we make UPS 97 today we will get the phones tomorrow or Monday?

I have been trying to find the 10 day rule with apple and UPS

I doubt we are on UPS99...I'd imagine we will catch UPS97 which will then go to Anchorage, refuel and bring us to Louisville at 7:36am Friday which would be too late to be sorted and sent on planes to their destination hub. From there, The phone will most likely reach the destination hub early Sat morning. It is looking more and more like a Monday delivery is now set in stone unfortunately...

There is no guarantee that we even get on UPS97. Some people have had their orders sit in Incheon for 2+ days

IF we are on UPS99 right now, tomorrow delivery will occur (for me, at least). I've done this once already this week.

IF we are not on UPS99 right now, Monday is the earliest. Which would (for me at least) be 8 days past UPS original promised date and 3 days past Apple's promised date.

Sadly, this.

I was told by UPS several days ago that I'm facing a Monday delivery based on how long I was sitting in ZZ, China. At this point, has anyone in this thread confirmed that they're on UPS99? It's past the two-hour point now with no updates. Will check back after lunch but if I don't see any updates by 1 p.m. EST, I'm pretty sure this puppy won't get to Boston till Monday afternoon.

Yes same here, my phone sat in Louisville hanging out all day apparently. Hopefully it had fun and picked up a few women's phone numbers while hanging out at the local bars, lol. :D:p Anyways, it didn't make the 5:05 to Philly yesterday. It better make one of 2 5:05 flights to Philly today if I am to get it tomorrow.

Hahah, weird but it says the package is past clearance, however I no longer have delivery date confirmation , says information unavailable.

Oh, I know it us uncharacteristic for UPS. I have seen them pull off some pretty crazy stuff before. Even last year with my 7+ pre-order, I missed launch day and was upgraded by Apple to Saturday delivery and even though I did not get it on launch day I was happy enough they upgraded me to Saturday delivery so I did not have to wait any longer. Apparently they are not upgrading anyone to Saturday delivery this year, from what I have heard? They should be doing things like this so things move along a little bit faster. This is the WORST timing ever because of Thanksgiving coming up. I am out of here Wednesday, and I wanted to stay a week but it will be pretty hard for me to let me phone sit in a damn UPS CC for a week. It will truly mess up the Holiday for me if I do not get it before I leave.

Mine's out for delivery (after 5 days in Asia), delivery was set to the 20th and got updated to today, once it reached Anchorage, it went by extremely fast.

As long as long as I get it before Thanksgiving I'll be happy. Going to a renaissance festival that weekend and would love to take pics with my new phone

Where was your last scan?
