I am not returning my old phone. I purchase mine outright. That is why I was wondering if I can take my sim from the phone (iphone 7) and put it in the iphone x

I guess you could, but your X should come with a new SIM setup for your phone line. I destroyed my old SIM and used the new, just so the entire phone would be running on fresh equipment. Would hate to chunk the brand new SIM and then my old one have an issue down the road. I think it's really a personal preference.

Hahah, weird but it says the package is past clearance, however I no longer have delivery date confirmation , says information unavailable.

Mine made it through the import scan and was rescheduled from Monday to tomorrow! I believe this one -- import scan is usually the last major source of delays.

Apple promised those of us in this group 11/17-11/24. There's been a lot of weirdness in the process, but it's worth remembering that it's still nine days before any of these phones are delivered late.

I can at last confirm: I've been bumped! By one day. The T-Mobile 256GB iPhone X silver that I ordered (confirmation 12:15 a.m.) arrived Nov. 16 despite an 11/17-11/24 delivery window. One day early is great, but I will say I'm a bit disappointed in Apple that they didn't do better. The phone was shipped on Nov. 9 and didn't leave ZhengZhou until Nov. 14. Then it inexplicably spent two days in Incheon before finally quickly making its way across the U.S. to me in about a day. Maybe one brownie point for the day-early delivery, but uncharacteristic of what I typically register as Apple delight when I get a new product.

I have another iPhone X coming also, which shipped later and progressed faster than the phone I received today. It has inexplicably been held in Louisville for over 24 hours with scheduled deliver for Friday. I sure wish that phone arrived today, but should it show up tomorrow or later, that's still square inside the quoted delivery window I got the night I preordered.

How would I grade Apple? C-
How about UPS? C

At no point did I badger either about why my package had been delayed. I'm sure even getting these devices to me this week was a huge undertaking, and I can be patient. While I am reselling this first phone, I'm very anxious to have the phone that's arriving tomorrow. I haven't upgraded since the iPhone 6 and I very much can't wait for the speed and glitz of the iPhone X. And I opted for IUP so I have this process to look forward to next year!

Good luck all, hope everyone registers a "bump" and gets delivery today, otherwise we can just say Apple was true to their word.

This is getting weird...for no one in this thread to have gotten a departure scan out of Korea at this point.
My thoughts exactly. I thought at least one of us would be on the flight, or at least you since you’ve been stuck in Korea for 3 days whereas most of us are on day 2. Something’s not right. Either that or they haven’t scanned anybody yet.

Not exactly, that delivery window goes out the proverbial window once the item ships. Once Apple ships and quotes you an actual delivery date, that is the date Apple is committed to.

I really don't want to hold on to hope at this point, but since the scans have previously not shown up until mid-flight, it is technically possible that they show up sometime in the next 3.5 hrs, or after arriving in AK. While not super common, it isn't unheard of for catch up scans to occur all at once like that.

Apple has originally quoted 11/20, but then UPS had quoted 11/16->11/17–11/20-> information unavailable. I’m curious what happens if it arrives past 11/20?

My phone just left Hong Kong after 4 days, now in Taiwan. UPS back to showing delivery tomorrow. fingers crossed. Love that my phone seems to be taking a different path than the rest of yours.

I was just chatting with Apple in anticipation of missing their promised date of Nov. 17th. My order still says Nov. 17 as of this moment. All I could get out of them is that if in fact the date is missed, and I chat back with them tomorrow, a specialist will handle the case. Which generally means nothing other than someone with the authority to offer compensation will be involved. Probably get a free case or similar out of the deal. Not that I want it, or even care. What I want is for them to use a carrier that isn't having capacity issues, or to get involved when it is apparent that they shipping into a backlog.

Totally shocked there have been no departure scans from Incheon today. WTF UPS. Maybe they’re just late? Wasn’t the flight delayed today a bit?

Same as me. 8 days and still in Asia. Unprecedented in my experience dealing with Apple, or UPS.

Hell, my phone has been: "Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery," since 11/13. Where in the hell am I transiting too?!?! Am I in a damn "Cast Away" situation, but UPS, where the plane crashed and some dude is sitting on an island with my iPhone X, holding onto it and waiting to give it to me if he is found? I joke, but seriously...where is my damn phone at? I would have to believe it is still in ZhengZhou and NOT in transit.

This is a damn joke!

the only reason swapping the sim is to save the activation fees. I read att forum that you could do so.
[doublepost=1510858132][/doublepost]oh finally delivered ... good luck everyone. Hope everyone gets delivered ASAP.

on a side, note those who are waiting for the departure details from Incheon mine departed yesterday and it did not show until 1.15 central time yesterday, so you might want to wait before loosing hope.
