Honestly I don’t know, the second one was a backup. I’m considering cancel.Do you think we can expect another bump?
Since new orders are getting 3-4weeks delivery, 4 weeks from today is exactly 12/1... I'm thinking about placing a new order just to check if I get a closer date.
apple site, paid in full, AT&T, Silver 256
Orig delivery 11/17-24
Still the same
Any benefit perhaps to get on the Upgrade program now, after the fact? Does it indeed seem that the IUP people are getting a solid here?
Same here, T-Mobile, 256GB, Silver, ordered through Apple Store app, with mail confirmation by 3:09amAT&T next, 256 SG, ordered through safari, apple.com, order completed by 3:10 EST, no movement at all, still OIP.
Apple gets their money upfront no matter how you purchase it.Yeah, a lot of us PIF got f over! You take our $1,000+ in ONE payment and we get the short end of the stick. WTF. Thanks, Apple!
Exactly, the Creditor that you get the loan through actually gives them $$ upfront. You then owe the creditor, and are in debt to them if you stop paying. Apple isn't sitting here waiting on your money each month.Apple gets their money upfront no matter how you purchase it.
quit complaining... Mine wasn't bumped (Im a new IUP member)Unreal the way IUP's are just moving ahead of orders that were placed nearly 15 minutes earlier!
That's wrong.
[doublepost=1509716290][/doublepost]I'm really pissed at the fact that I could probably walk in to AT&T today and get one or more.
11/6 is realistic. But I was hoping for a 11/3 and I don’t think that is now...I was originally 11/17-11/24, then moved to 11/16. Now I, too, have a shipping notice and tracking number that says delivery will be 11/6, Monday.
Well, this morning it showed an arrival scan in South Korea so I am wondering if 11/6 is realistic.
Very happy for you but this is what pisses me off. I completed my order at around 3:06 and received a confirmation email at 3:10, but somehow i have no movement. I got charged yesterday at around 3-4AM for the tax but have seen no movement. Still OIP with a delivery date of 11/17-11/24
256GB Silver, first time IUP, AT&T, Apple store app
They’re getting the money from Citizens One. Citizens one is collecting the installments and will handle delinquent monthly payments, not Apple. Granted they’re getting something out of the arrangement but Apple’s getting at least some of the full payment. I can’t imagine any other way.
I would think Citizens takes a higher percentage than a standard credit card processing. Apple would come out ahead with those of us that pay in full.Apple gets their money upfront no matter how you purchase it.
At this point I am feeling like a broken record but here we go again.
We have a very small sample size here. I think more people in this thread used the iPhone upgrade program than any other method of payment, so we are seeing a lot of movement. The sample size is too small to determine whether one group is actually getting preference over another.
I got my reservation placed between 12:05 and 12:10 and am seeing people who paid in full or used carrier programs after me get their phones shipped first. I’m on the iPhone upgrade program. I have had no movement on my order and no charge. I am still 17-24. Apple is not doing this to be evil, there has to be some kind of a method to their madness.
It’s likely a combination of the phone you ordered, when you ordered it, where you live, and how many other people near where you live ordered at a similar time to you. I’m in a smaller city in Oregon and don’t doubt that’s why I haven’t seen movement. They probably couldn’t fill a truck to me so they bumped others ahead of me. Yeah it sucks but what can I do?
I wonder if people with the same order #s are grouped in batches together
Im IUP and have not been bumpedi did at 12:09, at 12:12 i received the order confirmation email
no movement, no DEBIT CARD charge..
WTF apple?
Cleary they put the IUP in front of us..
