To me, space gray looks too boring. Reminds me of an Android phone. That's why I went with a Silver 5S. It looks stunning. It's sleek design and white color really show this phone off well.

Frankly, what I can't figure out still is why so people go crazy over the gold version. To me, it looks ghetto. The rear is alright, but the shiny gold rim completely ruins the look.

I'd pay extra NOT to get the gold.

I hear you. I don't understand the gold craze either. I guess it's because I see myself with a black phone. White is really nice , but maybe too flashy for me. I'm sure I'll love the black one too.
 
I had the Space Gray, I traded it in for the Silver. All previous iPhone I've had were black, I felt like I needed a nice change for once. I love it! I just feel like it looks so nice with iOS 7. Just my two cents.
