I don't believe in cases, but I recently got the Belkin sleeve-thing for my white one in a desperate attempt to avoid cracks... Wish me luck

no matter how much i love it naked, i got a case for mine! i got the contour isee and i like it! it gets scratched a bit but better the case than the iphone! also got a screen protector on it. i feel a better grip with the case on.

Not a commercial, but I've used Invisible Shield from ZAGG for my GPS receiver, camera and Treo 650 with good results. It is essential invisible 5 minutes after installation, and the protection is great. It works fine with the screen on my Treo, but I don't know anyone who has tried it with an iPhone. I would love to hear from anyone who has. My iPhone is on back order :(, but I plan to get one when it comes in.

Other: I have a sleeve/pouch, so when it's in my purse it's cased, but when it's in use it's naked.

I'm currently using this, with a review of it here.

This and a combination of BodyGuardz will suit me fine on my iPhone. I've always been a fan of the statement "your phone is NOT an accessory." So I won't ever wear it as one (read: case with belt clip, etc.).

BL.

yup, i got the iSee to and i also have that Incipio gel case that was one of the only cases sold at AT&T on launch.

Same here. The naked iPhone feels like it will slip right out of my hands. I don't use a screen protector.

I really haven't figured out the screen protector thing. The screen is made of glass. Anything that is tough enough to scratch the screen will go right through a piece of plastic covering the screen.

the iphone 3g screen is made of plastic not glass

i currently have a screen protector on it that is used for psp's. i just custom fitted it to the iphone screen and has worked well so far

I have one of those belt clip hip cases that I slide the phone into when carrying it around. It comes out to use it. I like it like that because I feel like I'm getting some protection when carrying it around but I have to take it out to use it so it is naked then.

I am thinking about getting one of those glare/screen protectors because I'm always wiping the screen off and I want to see if it makes any difference it how it looks.

I cased mine with a hard case. I was in the Apple store the other day, while my girlfriend bought the iPhone, and as i played with the displayed iPhones, i wanted to rip my case off. But it's still on because of fear of dropping it. I really don't care about keeping it perfect though.

i have Contour's Flick for my phone, but i've taken to not using it. just can't stand to hide the iPhone's beauty. The Flick, though, is the best case i've seen. it is the lightest, least bulky, and least intrusive on the 3G's form factor.

i go through this inner dialogue all the time, i hate cases, going naked, but , i don't want to scratch it so the case goes on, then, i'm like, ugly, case has to come off... etc. and on and on! ;)

I actually picked up a Griffin Elan Form a few days ago...BEST case i've used so far. DEFINITELY recommended.

I have a combination of an invisible shield on the back, power support antiglare on the screen, and an agent18 ecoshield all around. Why so much?? Noticed after my first round of golf after getting my 3G that sand from my pocket/glove gets inside the case and puts little pits in both the glass and the back so I decided to use all three. Call it overkill but my 500$ iPhone deserves the best!!

I use a case not so much because I'm afraid of cosmetic damage but rather to try and minimize the chance the phone will be destroyed if I drop it.

It's not an aesthetic thing for me--I just don't want to have to spend $500 to replace it if the screen breaks or something. All the phones I've ever owned have been dropped several times onto concrete.

Yes my iPhone 3g has a suit on :)

When I first purchased my iphone I went on line and purchased a clear Acrylic Hard Case its looks sweet you can see right thru it :) and they have decent prices not bad at all. im thinking now of getting a two tone color case hard plastic with white and black sweet looking. Here is the website:

Check it out they have a lot of neat colors and other cases aswell :p

No case

I've spent a fortune on cases for ipods and iphones, not this time. I like to use a dock and a case makes it too inconvenient. I was lucky with my original iphone and hope to be lucky with this one too.

I just got my iPhone today, and bought the Power Support Crystal Film and an Incase Protective Cover at the same time. I would have preferred the Incase Slider, but it is not available in the UK yet, and probably will not be for a month or two. But I will get one eventually.

By the way, those of you who have been using the iPhone 3G since launch day without any kind of case of film, how's the back holding up? Any scratches or scuff marks from just being in your pocket?
