there is no cap on the unlimited plan....I use about 3-4gb a month.
Im sorry, I thought he was asking about the 2GB plan.
On the unlimited they dont contact you since its unlimited. I know people that have gone over 8-10GB per month on unlimited iphone data plans.
I was actually talking about the 2GB plan. I wanted to know, just in case I ever had to leave the unlimited plan.

This isn't a well conceived poll. When it comes to money, AT&T is definitely going to charge you for going a byte over 2GB.
I know that when AT&T had unlimited data, some people would use the data just for the sake of using it. Including canceling their home internet and just tethering their phone. I was just curious to know if the 2GB limit was more of a threat than an actual "law".
It is the "law".
Kinda like the minutes and texts messages in your plan, if you go over then you pay extra.
So is the 2GB data plan if you go over 2048MB you will get charged.
Many posts above telling you exactly how much, is it that hard to understand?
Their is a cap of 5GB on the unlimited plan, but I'm not sure how well AT&T enforces it.
