Hey! Thanks for that. Seems they were delivered. Guess it's just a matter of them being processed now. So dumb that the USPS tracking numbers aren't working.Track it here:

Has anyone else experienced anything like this with their ATT NEXT returns?
I had a bad feeling about shipping them back to ATT since they provide no tracking ability on their website anywhere to determine the status of a NEXT return. You have to just wait for a text from them! It's like sending the device to a black hole and hoping for the best. And of course USPS is worthless in this whole saga. They don't even show that the packages were received (not even the one that ATT even confirms they received).
Update: Using the tracking suggested by Bo15 (thanks!) shows it was delivered in Dallas Tx.
Same here. AT&T rep told me it shows that my phone was received and I shouldn't be billed. However she made a note on my account saying that the phone has been received and if I end up getting billed by mistake the charges will be dropped.Heads up. Just got an AT&T text that they didn't receive my old iPhone by 10/21/15 and will be charged $339.60 on next bill. Huh??!!? Text on 10/06 said they had it and nothing else to do. New bill has installment plan $0.00. Must be a disconnect with the system. CS said it's ok and showing returned and paid of. YMMV.

Make sure you get a receipt from the Post Office. Last month I did the same with a Galaxy and AT&T said they never received it...
Did they try and make you pay for phone? Because same thing is happening to me.
Did you have a tracking number?
I'm still struggling through this nightmare. They double charged me despite the fact that I have a return code showing they received the returned phone.
AT&T is now threatening to turn off my current phone, and then charge me a reactivation fee of $40 on top of the bogus $379.60 that they double charged and only credited back once for the iPhone I returned. Been on the phone twice for a couple hours and each time they claim it's resolved and yet… still the threatening emails, and letters.
And to top it off, if I were to pay their ridiculous bogus fee, they would technically owe me an iPhone 6 since that's what the payoff for the phone means—you get to keep the phone you now would own if you paid it off. Nice. Wow.
I'm still struggling with the same issue. I've called them 4 times so far.

I went to an AT&T corporate store and they indicated they do not take Next trades in-store (despite being told the opposite over the phone) and that it had to be shipped to AT&T. I called them back and they generated a label for me.
I seriously can't even deal.
Huzzah! My fourth call was the one that did it. Had a voicemail from ATT when I got out of work that my account was credited.Wow, not good! Glad to hear I'm not alone, but sad to hear I'm not alone.May soon be time for more contact with media outlets, etc. Argh. I'll keep tracking my experience and report back here.

The problem I see with the Apple upgrade option is that the financing is through a third party, which means a credit check is done and it's another line of credit on your record. My Next return was OK, but I think next time I will pay it off and sell it outside of AT&T.Fantastic! That's great news and encouraging. Thanks for the feedback on that. I'm going to call tomorrow (I've reserved the 2 hours it took last time) and with luck, finally resolve it.
I'm definitely looking at trying Apple's financing next year instead of this mess. In the past I used Gazelle and it was painless and perfect every time. Boy, I sure took them for granted!

According to the iPhone upgrade program web page, the program is financed through Citizens One Personal Loans and is subject to eligibility. It is not a credit card, but it still means a credit check and an additional line of credit.I don't quite understand that one. They don't actually issue a credit card, they just charge an existing one.
