While it probably doesn't count as "in the wild" - there are six iPhones in our office, and my spousal unit and I each have one as well.

I got one and then 2 of the dentists I work with got one and I have seen about 3 of my patients with them since......
A teacher at my school has one, and I think one of the guys I worked under at my internship at Brown University had one.
I'm the only one in my residency program with an iPhone and another guy got the iPod Touch. Do you use your iPhone with any medical programs?

Same here... outside of the Bullring Apple store I've not seen anyone else with one.
Only seen one or two in London when I was there awhile ago. When I was in NYC last year we saw LOADS though.
Wow. I live in a **** hole city named St Louis, and even here I see them often. I see people talking on them while driving, and I see them with it at the mall and such. My cousin has one, 2 people I work with directly, and an old college friend of mine have one.
Perhaps it's a regional thing. The coverage could suck bad enough in CA that no one wants one. I know my old friend who lives in Los Angeles now, and totally is one of those annoying LA people, doesn't want one, cause she "hears AT&T customer service is bad". Nice. Not even that the coverage is bad (which I don't think it is, I've used mine while visiting her). But I would be willing to bet that's the general LA attitude.

I attend University California Riverside.
Last Quarter (Fall) I only saw a few throughout the entire quarter. This Quarter (Winter) I have seen at least 1 in every class, and every day see more and more in classes and walking around campus. The growth has picked up big here.

Yup, I see them all the time! It was pure torture the first week they came out because I wanted one so bad
I haven't seen any in the wild at all! I'm the only person at my school with one (that I know of) and people keep asking to see it.
