hmm shouldve just let this conversation of 10 year olds be. oh well, i'll go support ACTA now. Bye!

Come on. You should see us, when we bicker about those nasty viruses for Mac OS X and try to prove each other right. It's fun, really. Believe me. BELIEVE ME. ;)
Good luck supporting TACA.

I like the simplicity of Spaces and Expose on Snow Leopard so far, I guess I'm another one of the minority :D

Ahh, now there are two users of Spaces and Exposé. Now we are more than one. Good. We will prevail. Until our Macs with 10.6 on them die of course and we can only get Macs from 2012.

Let's not get started with Android vs iOS :D

I am totally down with that :D

I did two weeks ago and have been enjoying it (for the most part). So much so that i finally waved goodbye to Snow Leopard.

Yeah... I like everything about it apart from a few little things, such as the inverted scrolling, (which I changed back anyway) the absence and rosseta and the absence of Front Row.

Yes, just last month I put on 10.7.2 audio software is finally starting to support it and I got an ssd :)

No I have not migrated to Lion. I chose the word "migrated" because for my purposes Lion is not an upgrade.

While I've used it on a new MBA which came with it, and I tried to like it since obviously Apples pushing it, there's no compelling reason for me to make the switch. In fact Lion has made me appreciate the efficiency and streamlined work flow of SL even more.

I'm not saying that I will avoid it over the long haul, since one cannot predict the future, but suffice to say I'm thrilled that I upgraded to a new Mid 2010 MBP when I did. The latest rev of SL is ideal for my use.

At this juncture nothing beats SL for all that I do.

I've been there (Lion) and back 3 or 4 times..I even thought about going there again yesterday with .3. I really want to like it but I don't. I use icloud the only thing left to figure out is photo stream everything else is syncing nicely. I like both versions of spaces but I like Snow Leopard for multiple monitors.

@ the OP..if you can think of one good reason to switch do it, it is the future. Just make sure you have a bootable Snow leopard backup so you can go back.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

no migration to Lion here either - it seems way too buggy and my apogee soundcard is reported to be fairly un predictable too... :/ will have to do something 30th of june though when mobileme stops working... (or start using gmail?)

Tried it when it came out but reverted to Snow Leopard because several of my most used apps hadn't been updated to work with Lion properly.

A question to Lion users:

In Lion Finder, sorting files by kind in Icon View (making it look like Snow Leopard), they are sorted in reverse alphabetical order, zip files on top and avi files on the bottom. Is this still the case or is back to the proper alphabetical order? Probably one of the most annoying bugs in Lion for me.

I upgraded to Lion and I like it a ton better than SL. I couldn't go back to SL, Lion has kicked new life into internet browsing, back when I was on SL I preferred the iPad for internet since upgrading to Lion I don't use the iPad. Lion has made my MBP seem jumpier, fast, smoother and I've had no issues at all and I never did a clean install. I really like Lion and there is no way I'd go back to SL, as there's a bigger cat in town and it's better, imho.

Just upgraded...again

I just upgraded to Lion again. I tried it when it first came out, didn't like it and reverted to SL.

This time I am trying to use Lion as my main driver and hopefully I'll stick with it. I still like SL better. Lion has some strange UI inconsistencies that bug me.

For example in column view when you sort by kind you get a completely different view than sorting by name, none etc. And if you try to size columns automatically from kind view the columns all contract in width instead of resizing so you can read all of the file names. And to add insult to injury if you sort by none and then set secondary sorting to sort by kind (in the view menu) all of the folders end up at the bottom...so close but fail...

I also think that removing Save As was one of the most idiotic decisions made in OS history and relegates Lion to Vista status for me personally.

BUT I really do want to get a new Mac at some point. Almost all of the "features" in Lion can be disabled or supplemented with other apps etc. I figured I'd get to work figuring out how to do this now rather than when I get a new computer....

I just hope Apple can do better for 10.8. If Lion is the start of a trend, rather than one bad apple (pun intended) I can't buy Apple computers anymore...:(

I upgraded my 2010 MBP (13") a week ago and so far so good. The battery time remains similar, the heat is pretty much the same and I love using iTunes, Mail and Safari in fullscreen.

My only issue is Time machine, it's so damn slow compared to SL. Other than that I guess the boot is a bit slower, but I've activated filevault, so I can't really compare.
