Mine is in America nowArkansas, still says Wednesday delivery though, wonder if they're really that lazy! Perhaps it's because it still has to go though customs or something?
Could be, mine is in Anchorage with an estimated delivery (NC) of 7/27. Its currently pending International Shipment Release which sounds like a fancy way of say stuck in customs.

Yes mine is coming from FedEx, I'm in Connecticut, so perhaps it was cheaper for them to use FedEx or faster, dunno. I'm not a big fan of FedEx. Yeah it just said that it cleared "international shipment release" and is now in transit. Still says Wednesday. But I think we all know those semi-truck drivers don't obey their laws (like only driving for x amount of hours, etc). We'll see. It's either Tuesday or Wednesday morning though
Its been 3 days since I ordered mine and my Macbook air still hasn't shipped, hopefully it will ship tomorrow...
My delivery date of the 28th does not make sense at all. It went from China to AK to NJ in about 1 day hah. I live on the east coast, so hopefully it will get here much earlier than the 28th. I am a newbie with Fedex and Apple, but does anyone know if I am pretty near NJ if it will come much earlier than the 28th? If this was UPS there would be a good chance it would get here either tomorrow or Tuesday. It would only be logical as the drive from my home to NJ is not that long.
Perhaps NJ is just a gigantic hub, and it might make a leap to somewhere further out. I once had a package go from 1 hour away from my home to about 20 hours drive to the sorting facility.

My computer is finally "ready to ship!!"
I expect to get it by Wednesday.
I cannot wait to try it out and see how it runs. I got the i7 and with all the talk on the forum I want to make sure it runs well --- if not I am going to the apple store at the end of the week and I will get myself an i5.

Ordered 13 in. i7 on morning of release. Got shipment notification on 07/22 and it first went to TN. I just checked and it departed TN today and still lists the original delivery estimate of 07/27. I'm not familiar with how FedEx does international shipments, but I was hoping they would ship it straight to California - I'm in the Bay.

You will be fine. Once you load all your apps and data, leave the computer on and don't let the hard drive sleep. This will allow the computer to index itself.

I ordered mine within the first 45 minutes of availability on Wednesday. By Sunday morning there was no update so I went to the local Apple Store and bought a 13" i7 on the spot. While waiting for the salesman to put the payment through I cancelled the online order using my iPhone.

Ha! Just noticed my error. Yeah, meant to say Bay Area.
Got my shipping notice on friday with estimated delivery for 1st of August (UK). Normally I have had all my deliveries via UPS in the past but this time the shipment is via expeditors shanghai. Managed to track it via the following website - http://expo.expeditors.com
Its gonna arrive in london heathrow on the 29th of July and is coming via Virgin Atlantic. Im not in a rush but this is unusually taking longer than my previous apple orders. Order was placed a few hours after the Airs went live and status changed from prepared for shipment on friday to shipped late saturday.

Ordered my 11" Ultimate on release day and mine was in San Antonio, TX as of 4 am for delivery in Corpus Christi, TX (2.5 hours away). Delivery date still says 7/28 but I have a feeling it could be here today or definitely tomorrow. Fingers crossed
How did you pay for faster shipping? I wanted to opt for this - but it was not available.
My computer has been SHIPPED! ... but it says est. date of arrival is Friday.
Also, it was shipped by UPS - I much prefer FEDEX...
Oh well, I am so excited!!
