For those whose orders haven't been updated since the 23rd in Anchorage, I just got an update saying mine left the FedEx location in Anchorage this afternoon.

Got my shipping notice on friday with estimated delivery for 1st of August (UK). Normally I have had all my deliveries via UPS in the past but this time the shipment is via expeditors shanghai. Managed to track it via the following website - http://expo.expeditors.com

Its gonna arrive in london heathrow on the 29th of July and is coming via Virgin Atlantic. Im not in a rush but this is unusually taking longer than my previous apple orders. Order was placed a few hours after the Airs went live and status changed from prepared for shipment on friday to shipped late saturday.
Thanks for the link to expeditors which shows mine is currently mid transit from China to Heathrow via Virgin Atlantic and will arrive at LHR on 27th July and then merge with another item prior to final delivery.

There are reasons I hate FedEx >.>

"Jul 23, 2011 5:48 PM - In transit - ANCHORAGE, AK"
"Jul 25, 2011 4:22 PM - Departed FedEx location - ANCHORAGE, AK"

two days of "In transit" and it just now left!? What does in transit even mean anymore!

UPS Worldwide Expedited™
Is this the expedited shipping you were talking about?

Mine too.

Really, was it customized? As far as I know, they only use FedEx for the CTO's coming from China. I just chose the normal expedited shipping option, which was FedEx.

Maybe FedEx is overloaded with Apple orders hah...
I looked on other boards and Apple has used UPS (especially in Canada); however, my case and gift card came by FedEx last week.

I got mine this morning, super fast. It started in China, went through AK to Memphis and ended up right at my door. Amazing. I ordered last Wednesday.

I paid seven dollars to get the two to three day shipping. Is that FedEx? Or do I need to contact Apple?

Pretty sure 2-3 day shipping guarantees that you will receive your shipment 2-3 days after the information has been sent to the shipping company.
Apple is preparing the computers which also requires an additional 2-3 business days

Business Days not weekends.

Shipping times are usually "real days" vs business days, unless the delivery will fall on a weekend, then it's pushed out to the next business day. However, that assumes domestic shipping. Customs is always a bit of a wild card over the weekend.

Ordered mine on launch day (max config i7). It shipped pretty much immediately and arrived today (Monday @ noon) at my home in Seattle. No expedited shipping. I don't get home from overseas until Saturday. Oh well, something to look forward to.
