Ordered my 13" i7 the day they were announced. apple said july27-29 for delivery but it arrived yesterday to my surprise! amazing computer very fast. not noisy at all, great battery life

when did you order? mine hasn't been shipped either but I've got the 8th August as the delivery date.....
Where is yours now? Anchorage? Maybe ours are together.. Mine is coming to Montreal.
BTW, I always have the worst experiences with UPS...
My current status is "in transit to Louisville, KY". It left japan at about 9ish EST this morning. So I'm hoping it gets to the states tonight so it has a chance of being delivered by Friday.
I don't really understand why it first is in Poland, then in Korea again. I mean scanning happens at the location itself I assume?
Anyway, at first the estimate was friday 29th. After the first screw up they removed it the estimate and doesn't say anything anymore. The packet has been in Korea, after three days wandering around China and Korea...I'm not sure if friday will be the day, if they speed things up a bit there is a fair chance.

Mine is still supposedly in Alaska and has not moved since 9:00 PM lastnight..
Since yours is going to Canada too, ours will probably leave at the same time. Hopefully sometime tonight.
Lol yeah I hate waiting too. I actually almost bought the Ultimate 11" in store just so I didn't have to wait. Glad I didn't though, that would have been a waste of $265.

Got the same computer. i7 but not the bigger drive. That's funny, I actually went to the Apple Store also on Saturday, and left and ordered this one during movie previews.
You ordered day of launch? Dang...I ordered on Saturday, and it shipped Monday at midnight (Tuesday in China).
Ordered on launch day...looks like our MBAs are flight buddies DeusInvictus7, no delivery date scheduled for me either...

Nope, just got normal shipping. But even normal is UPS Worldwide Expedited, so UPS says 3-5 business days.
And it looks like his is going to BC, as per his location.
EDIT: BTW, mstern08, I like how yours arrived in Anchorage twice. lol
Ordered launch day morning about 10am.
Picked up in Shanghai on the 25th.
Delivered today (just outside Vancouver, BC) at 2:15 pm.
I can't wait to get home!
