Have your customized MBA been shipped?

So, it seems like a bunch of you on the West coast got yours today. Us on the East are unlucky.
 
My tracking info just update saying it has arrived in Memphis. Has all of yours shown departed from Anchorage yet?
 
Mine is now at the major hub in my area :D too bad it's not coming today :(

edit: The drive is an hour away, wonder if I can take the train there and pick it up!

I ordered the maxed-out 11" MBA (1.8 Ghz i7, 4GB RAM, 256GB SSD) on July 20. Last word I have is as of 7/25 at 2:30 PM it was in Anchorage. Estimated delivery date for me is still 7/28 (wish I was still in my vacay home in Vegas. I'd probably have it today or tomorrow at the latest. NY delivery will probably take the full time until Thursday).

My order status has been up and down since Friday 22nd from prepared for shipment to not yet shipped on Monday, then to prepared for shipment and not yet shipped again early this morning. My original delivery dates were between July 26 (today) and July28th, now my ship dates have been pushed for whatever reason to Aug 1-3. Has any else with the same configuration as myself experience this delay?

Me too. Our MBAs must be in the same shipment. I'm still expecting delivery by 10:30am tomorrow 7/27. Despite any clearance delay, which may be routine, it still has plenty of time to get here on schedule. Today would have been nicer, though :D
 
I ordered mine over the weekend...and Apple gave me an estimate of August 2 for delivery. I got the shipment email at midnight last night, and good news, it should be here by Friday!

Does any one know if UPS Canada can hold a shipment at a store for me to pickup? I'm working all day on Friday and don't want to have to wait until Monday for a second delivery in case I miss it.

My estimated delivery got bumped to 07/28 by 10:30AM as of right now in my FedEx tracking info. Off to a bad start this week :(

mine says the same thing.. its not just one macbook air ... its a pallet , which has 30-50 laptops (or even more) in the same shipment.
Depending when apple office opens the should be able to fax over commercial invoice to fedex in no time and this should start moving soon hopefully ...
 
My 1.8 i7 13" macbook air shipped on July 22nd, had a delivery date to NY on July 28th, but just checked it online and its on the truck for delivery! 2 days early..yay
 
mine FINALLY arrived at the local fed ex place this morning...i just hope it makes it on a truck before it leaves to go deliver....if not they better let me pick it up today...imma be piiiiiissed if not....

I am in the same boat

Ordered mine on 7/21 and my air is in the same shipment. :mad:

Not sure if that's a good news but I found the other link on Yahoo to track the fedex package and it says a little different than fedex site.

at 6:00am , it's in the sort facility , does that mean they were cleared from custom ? :p

Mine left Anchorage yesterday and went through Indianapolis shortly thereafter, and is now out for delivery on my local fedex truck. But the tracking tool still says estimated delivery of Jul. 28! So maybe some of you are in for a pleasant surprise like I woke up to this morning.

The clearance delayed shipment has now been released in Memphis but, yeah, for some reason the projected delivery got bumped a day. They still have plenty of time to get it to me tomorrow, so we'll see.

Hey guys, first time poster and first time Mac user. Ordered my i7 13" MBA (CTO) last Thursday and Fedex dropped it off here in Houston this morning. It went via Anchorage where it arrived on the 23rd to Dallas to Houston into my hands. That's a full 2 days sooner than Fedex tracking was showing.

Same here. Delivery to the house at 12:30 EST in Detroit. 13" Ultimate.

I ordered the same one.
I got the shipping notification yesterday - it was supposed to have left Shanghai ... but it only did today
Now my expected delivery date was pushed back from Friday to Monday...
:(
