My order status has been up and down since Friday 22nd from prepared for shipment to not yet shipped on Monday, then to prepared for shipment and not yet shipped again early this morning. My original delivery dates were between July 26 (today) and July28th, now my ship dates have been pushed for whatever reason to Aug 1-3. Has any else with the same configuration as myself experience this delay?

I ordered my computer the morning it was announced.. same specs are you and my original ship date was Aug 1 - Aug 3r.d

Mine was shipped yesterday --- but only today really :(
Supposed to get it Monday
 
I keep seeing "departure scan" from Shanghai -- what's going on..
Also, the expected delivery date vanished :s
 
Looks like it MIGHT be arriving tomorrow. It's at the destination sort facility in Chicago. *Finger crossed* :eek:
 
Very busy on following the shipment of my new air, but wth? It has arrived in poland and now it's leaving Korea?the hole deal has to be deliverd in netherlands. Strange right?

I know everyone (no one) has been waiting for the update with my MacBook Air. So here it is!

July 25 -> Picked up in Shanghai, CN
July 26 -> Arrived in Memphis, TN
July 26 -> Arrived in Mississauga, ON (Canada)
July 26 -> Clearance in progress, Mississauga, ON (Canada)
July 27 -> In transit (3:09 a.m.)

I'm supposed to receive delivery by noon today (the 27th) so hopefully it arrives in Vancouver early morning, goes on some sort of truck, and is delivered.

I know your suffering...It's exactly the same as mine. I think our MBA's are sitting in the same line :)

These things really piss me off... What I want to know now is where is it at this very moment? Korea or Poland... it's not like neighbouring countries, are they!

The estimate according to UPS was delivery by friday, I guess we can forget about that. No Air this weekend! (don't want to be pessimist):mad:
 
I ordered Macbook Air i7 two days ago. It went to "Prepared for Shipment" in about a day and now it's back to "Not yet shipped".

What does this mean??? Should I simply wait?
 
Next stop: Kazakhstan!

Great, now Borat is transporting my MBA.... (Sorry Kazakhstan, it's not your fault)

I guess UPS is more lost then I am, from Shanghai two days flying around to arrive back in Shanghai, then to Korea. From there to Poland and back again to Korea, and to make matters worse ending up in Kazakhstan.

Let's see where it goes now? Should I call UPS to mention it hasn't been in Tahiti yet?

I am on the Same boat as you are. I am getting serious angry about ups ! How is it possible that à package flys back to Korea while it was in poland , i could drive to poland if i wanted, and now it makes à stop in Almaty, Kazakhstan in THE mean while ups contacted germany that a package is coming. Delivery date was 29/7 . Hope it still makes it or i'll have an extreme bad weekend.
 
For those who got stuck in Boratland today! We are on the move again... let's see where we're going to end up later today!

WOOT! Got delivered a few minutes ago. Now I have to wait for my aunt to re-ship my macbook air to me in Puerto Rico because of Apples' refusal to ship directly to Puerto Rico. P's me off, but there was no other way to get the educational discount and gift card along with the free printer. Also, the extra add it up BOA cash back rewards were a plus too.

Mine has done the same as yours, but multiple times. I got an e-mail from Apple saying an "Unexpected Delay". You very well might be in the same boat that I'm in I would suggest you wait unless your wanting it now. If so cancel your order and pick up at the store if they have them in stock. I have been contemplating going to the store, I hope to not have anymore delays wanting to take the Air to Quakecon this year.

WOW yours is traveling fast. Is this FED EX OR UPS?
Mine is UPS -- it was in Shangahi for 2 days.... got to Alaska last night and no activity ever since.

I think UPS tracking is extremely flawed...
Do you see an estimated arrival date?/ Because I originally had 1 (friday) and now I do not.
 
Same here, I had a delivery date of Friday, but today there isn't one. It just left Japan after being in Shanghai for over 24 hours. I wish it was fedex delivering mine...they seem to be more on top of things.

Where is yours now? Anchorage? Maybe ours are together.. Mine is coming to Montreal.
BTW, I always have the worst experiences with UPS... :(
