Only iPhone 6 users.

Would love to see the sales stats of which phone sold more.

Hopefully the iPhone 7 won't make the 4.7 obsolete. It's perfect size wise.

Not sure where you based but here in Manchester I have seen far more people with 6+ then the 6. And I am personally using the 6.

I've seen two 6 Plus's in the wild but a couple of dozen 6's. Its not surprising as I think the 6 is the more popular phone due to its size.

I can see lots of companies with sales staff taking up the Plus because it will eradicate the need for an iPhone and iPad when on the road.

Is that supposed to be indicative of something other than the obvious? Who would expect a phablet to be on pace with or outsell a smaller, one-handed phone? That's never been the case. The Galaxy Note has never even remotely come close to reaching Galaxy S sales which remains Samsung's bestseller. Why anyone would expect differently with the iphone 6 is a mystery.

Ok.

It's more than family and friends asking to hold the phone. I promise you that if you walked around Best Buy's mobile department, you'll have a few people asking to look at it if the demo unit isn't out. I went to look for a case and I had several people ask me to see it and to hold it to compare the 6 and the 6+.

There's nothing wrong with the 6 but from what I can tell, most people are on the fence about which one they want and they want to see how big the screen is compared to other iPhones. Honestly, most people think its a Note (when I'm using mine) until they see the iOS UI and they realize that its an iPhone.

That's what I've been most annoyed by! I don't like taking my device out because I hate when people touch my phone. I personally dislike touching anybody else's device anyway. Finding the right way to say no is challenging lol. Especially when I see them hit the power or home button with all that force its like their jabbing a knife into my heart.

As for seeing the 6 in the wild I've only seen one 6 Plus in the train. Besides that I don't think I've seen even a 6 yet except my sister has the 6

say no because you won't pay for it if you drop it. (Could add it's a 1000 pound/dollar device. Just to reinforce the question)
They'll say but I won't drop it. You reply that wasn't the question or that wasn't what I said.

I have seen a few. I was at the bank the Monday after launch day and the ladies there knew I was lining up for the Plus and were excited to see it (I live in a small town and have known the entire staff of the bank by name since I was a kid). They were all gathered around looking at it when another customer came up and pulled his Plus out. He said he had pre-ordered and asked to see what my Apple silicone case was like.

n.

Are our saying if everyone was gathered round admiring my little 6 and someone walked over and pulled out their 6+ everyone would loose interest in mine and admire the bigger one? Does this sort of thing happen in other areas of life? (Do I really need to put haha)

Ps. Am happy with my 6. It fits my lifestyle as I'm active on my feet.

I find it hilarious that so many people in this thread say they have random people coming up to them to ask to hold their phones..are you all joking or is it just family and friends asking about it.

In all my years of owning a phone I've took notice of what random people are using and have never been approached to touch my phone.

I guess my lowly regular 6 doesn't have the same charm the big 6 has...for you single people out there, maybe it's a good way to pick up women?

If I wasn't married, I think I'd get the big 6 and use it to pick up chicks after seeing this thread..

To be honest, I get lots of that too. I think it's just that the 6 Plus is so different than the past iPhones where as the 6 is more pedestrian. It doesn't even appear that much bigger than the 5s.

I should say also that I have both at the moment and I do also get lots of comments about the 6, just not nearly as much as the 6 Plus.

Good. May phablets die a swift death.

Why on earth would you care if there are phablets? How could they possibly effect you? Don't like em? Don't buy one. Duh?

I have yet to see a single one on the streets in NYC, which is rather strange.

I have had no one comment on my 6+ yet for that matter let alone anyone wanting to hold it.

And I have not seen any either. I have three Apple stores about 10 miles in different directions from me.

I've seen both of them, although probably a bit more 6. Not a surprise, really. These are selling like hotcakes.

I agree. I have never liked anyone using my phone and now that it has an Apple leather case on it I don't even want them to touch it. It would be easy for me to say no to strangers, but that won't work with friends. I've never shown off my new Apple devices for exactly that reason. Many of my friends have that "it's just a phone" attitude and their devices show it. Perfectly fine people otherwise. :D

I haven't seen one iPhone 6 or 6+ in the wild.

Okay, and what instance are you regularly getting asked about your phone?

Let's see. At a friend's 50th birthday party this weekend, I was asked to video the cake (yep, 50 candles - it was ablaze). Several people said "Ooooh, is that the 6+? Can I see it?"

At work on Monday, one of my old employees (retired from my department last year) stopped by to visit. She asked me if I had gotten the new phone yet, told her yes, she asked if she could see it. Had to go get it out of my purse.

Texted my daughter from the grocery store because I couldn't remember if I had any almond milk at home. A person walked by and said, "Ooooh, is that the 6+? Do you love it?"

And so on. So, if you are implying that normal use of the phone in non-stealth mode is to blame, then, yes, I suppose I should sneak off to the nearest dark closet before I pull the phone out and use it.

Quadruple .

Thanks much. Exactly as I suspected. :p

I've seen them around, but haven't actually seen anyone hold them up to their head and talk with them. I've been waiting for a good laugh :p

Saw a young man @ Dunkin Donuts today with a Space Gray 6 plus - he was sitting next to me and texting.

That makes one plus and one 6 I've seen and I'm not really looking for them.
