Awesome. Great it is universal. Now I can really use my unlimited 3G data. Plus, my friend wants me to watch The Wire.
I'm the first on my account to try this. Any tips on how to fix this?HBOGO Error Message said:You have exceeded the maximum number of accounts that can stream video on HBO GO at one time. To play a new video on HBO GO, one of your household accounts must stop a video stream.
Is anyone having a problem with sound? I'm getting no sound at all in the app. The volume bar isn't even showing up.
I've tried this on my iPhone and everything is working fine. It's just with the iPad.
I'm not having this issue in any of my other apps, including Netflix or the stock video app.
Same problem here. Headphones work.
Even if I direct the audio to my ATV2, nothing.
Oh well - I'm sure they'll fix it quickly.
the HDMI adapter to my TV does not seem to work either...![]()
That is unfortunate. Is there a chance another member can confirm this?
I have Charter, and I really want to use this app, but I'm having problems.
I sign in with my charter account(it's supported), and created my hbogo id. When I try to play a video I get this error message:
I'm the first on my account to try this. Any tips on how to fix this?
Same problem, so I logged out and now it wont let me back in at all.
So looks like with charter there are still major bugs...surprise...
I think you're being unreasonable. They don't want you to use video out so you can't use your iPad as a portable cable box to show HBO content to large groups of non-subscribers.Really getting tired of these idiot content providers allowing video to mobile devices/pc but then throwing up roadblocks to get it to your tv. The back episodes are way better selection than hbo ondemand, but I'm not going to sit and watch a series on a <10 inch screen.

It's free. Shush.

I pay monthly for HBO--the content most certainly is not free. F me apparently for wishing they incorporated one of the key iOS features.
It's a really nice app, never said it wasn't. It could be amazing with a simple addition.

I fixed my problem, though your comment is somewhat ambiguous as to whether your problem is the same.
What I had to do is go into iPad's settings and clear Safari's cache. Manyyou could try that?
Damn you cablevision
