Exactly what happened actually.

It would have cost $610 but the Genius was quite nice and said he would cover the charge.... so it's free

I just wish my the windows 7 partition wouldn't keep freezing when I play Bad Company 2.

On another note... I hear some weird humming sound when I tilt my MBP from being level to sideways and vice versa. I'm guessing it's just the HDD but I'm just paranoid after this stupid accident.



I guess. I'm just not going to let anyone else touch it unless it's on a desk. I might get a hardcase for it now... even though I have wrapsol on it. You stats seem scientific enough, it has a number which is good enough for me.

Going to Apple store later on today (after my final) to drop it off. The screen is a bit crooked now that I look at it so I'm going to talk to them about that. The genius I had last time won't be there sadly but he did give me a card saying that the fix was ok so it shouldn't be a problem. Will update again in a few hours once I get back.

Edit: Getting logic board replaced.

The Genius wasn't there today so I talked to someone else. He said that if Steve (the nice Genius) said that he would replace the case he would have to sign off on it and there's nothing that he could do since Steve wasn't there. Have to go back in on Monday and hopefully Steve will be there.

I loathe this kind of dirtbag attitude.

THey have a 14-day return policy...if it were I...I would take it back...maybe saying yeah it was like this when I bought it and tell them you called and they gave you the run around so you have finally made it back to return it....just my little dishonest opinion
