The FedEX guy just got here, he said he was confused because they both have the same tracking number/shipping ID, needless to say, I have two 32GB white iPhones.

What do I do? I am trying to call Apple but I've been on hold forever, and then lets not beat around the bush there is that not-so-nice part of me that wonders whether or not I can keep it.

Update:

Apple is happy I called them, they're offering me some stuff in return. Rewards ftw.
PIC!

Pics or die a liar! You never call if true. Let them call YOU!

ughhh I wish I was you lol.
Sell it on ebay. Or give it back, maybe they will give you some cookies.

It is acceptable and legal for a company to send you a bill after they see the accidental item you received. So, its very possible you will get an bill in the mail and a request to return the device or pay the bill.

If your credit card didn't get charged for 2 phones, sell the other one on eBay. :D

Just kidding.

Instead of returning them, I think you should do a good deed and maybe do a giveaway.

Yep. Just took business law. It's called a quasi contract.

Then again, Apple is no moms and pops shop. It's possible it'll go unnoticed.

If you exhaust all means through FedEx/Apple to try to figure out what happened AND you didn't get charged twice for it, I don't think anyone would blame you for keeping/selling it, especially in these tough economic times LOL.

Haha as hard as it might be, I'd say give it back. Imagine if you were the person waiting for the iPhone that never came, and then your tracking status said delivered! That would be the most depressing thing ever...

I doubt it will go unnoticed honestly, inventory control in a large company like Apple is very well monitored. I just don't think its worth the risk of selling it for $400 then a week later getting a bill for $700.
