I'm getting page unavailable when you get back to the part where you select "device only" after doing all the other steps.

Update:
Got it to work by more quickly selecting "device only" button when you get back to that first page.

just ordered one this way and not I am waiting for confirmation email.. nothing yet but they said in website it may take up to 24 hrs to get it. will see :)

ps, I am not verizon customer.
 
Got an email that my order is now "processing" and could take up to 3 days.

Also, when I went to check the order status on the Verizon website, it said there was an "error with my order" and I should "refer to the email for further instructions".

Not sure what it means as I got no email about an "error in my order".

Wonder if they caught on to how people were ordering with no service plan and stopped the order?
I haven't been charged or anything.

Anyone have anything similar?
 
Everyone seems to be luckier than me.

VZW cancelled both of my orders as they discovered they were device only orders with no accompanying wireless service plans.

When I spoke to the rep, she pretty clearly identified the fact that an iPhone 6 has to be ordered with a service plan.

You guys that got it work - I'm jealous. I thought I was home free when the order was through, but now I'm back to ground zero.
 
Mine seems to be still moving forward. Earlier today it just showed that the order was pending. Now I have a grid with my order number and a space for a tracking number. No actual tracking number though.

This is feeling like a "you might get lucky, but probably won't work" method perhaps?

Not sure other people have it truly confirmed working yet. I also received e-mails "confirming" my order and that it's in process. Ended up having problems with it being held up like other people above mentioned.

If it really does work though (any people got a tracking number yet?), might order one later when they're back in stock.

Yeah. Love to hear if anyone actually got a shipping notice.
Very consistent to get the order in the queue, but then they just get cancelled when they get looked at by an employee for processing.

A tip that worked for me: using those steps on page 1, when you get to the part about clicking 'back,' be sure you are not using your browser's back button. That's what didn't work for me. When you get to the page that you need to go back, click the actual 'back' button from Verizon's page. That is the only way I could get mine to go through.

All of that part works fine (the actual getting the order done) -- It's when human eyes at VZW finally get eyes on the order and realize that no wireless plan has been ordered with the device that the problem starts --- and before long you get cancelled.
 
I didn't receive a shipping notice but my order status page now shows a FEDEX tracking number. Tracking shows it has been picked up and is in PA. This definitely works, at least for some.

That sucks! The only thing I can think of is when I placed my order, it was available for delivery 9/19, and at this point, I think only one or two configurations on this page have that option. Have you tried one of them?

Which iPhone are you buying? And did your credit card get charged? If your CC declines the transaction, Verizon will automatically cancel it.

I already received tracking # for mine. Ordered 9/13 for iPhone 6, delivery expected on the 19th by UPS.

Was specifically trying to get an iP6 128gb Gold (which on VZW is available for 9/19 delivery)

Never even hits my credit card.
Appears to get caught by a VZW employee and get cancelled every time

Yeah. Have only been trying to get 128gb Gold iP6 which shows as 9/19 delivery still
 
Sorry to bump this again, but wanted to let everyone know that I got it to WORK!!!

4th time was the charm.
I did change one thing, and one thing only.

I didn't select "shipping and billing address the same" and manually entered them both.

I caught wind that maybe this might be an issue when I was on the phone with a rep and he was sort of "talking to himself" and saying things like "why's this all empty? No address in there"? etc, etc.

Got UPS tracking info for Friday delivery!

If there isn't a "Deliver by date" listed under the iPhone does that mean it is available for immediate shipping?
 
Yes, now that it is one day before release.

A friend is on Verizon and asked me to help her find an iPhone 6 this weekend at the Apple store. But if I can order from the website tonight and get it shipped to me by Monday I will do that.
 
Verizon has an excellent shipping record. You may even get it tomorrow, for those that don't have a "Delivers by" message.
