I don’t know why but I was fully expecting the top of the HomePod mini to be somewhat color matching, not straight up white. Am I the only one?

EDIT: Apparently they are slightly matching the color of the HomePod
Matching would have been cool, but I was actually expecting the top to be the dark color like you get on the Space Gray HomePod mini. Not white. That doesn't look good IMO. I was tempted to get a yellow one until I saw that the top was white and not the dark color.

Would be fun pairing two of these new HomePod mini colours with their respective 24" iMac colour
(I'm hoping for Purple ...)

Otherwise I'm hoping I can one day connect 2 HomePods and 2 HomePod minis together for a surround sound system. In which case I'll stick with Black haha!

Little money for Apple in the gaming world. I would like it too but I get why they're not interested. Hardcore gamers will always have an irrational hate for Apple.
Yeah, little money in gaming. That why Games is a specific category in the App Store, Apple released Arcade as a standalone service, and during each keynote of A-processor we see several games being shown at the stage. Apple is putting tons of effort in the MOBILE gaming market, because they found out they make billions out of gamers. If similar effort and passion is put in computer gaming, there is ton of potential and a HUGE market before Apple.

Sorry, I meant to say HARDCORE gaming. Of course mobile gaming is very important to Apple. They wouldn't fare so good in the hardcore gaming world (meaning PC users). Console users maybe, but probably neither.
