The 17h ago indicator means it was uploaded 17h ago, not released. For some reason MAS updates have always been like this. When I submit an update and it gets approved the next day, it shows as being released the previous day.

There is no schedule. Apple said that it would be released today. They never said when on the 16th. Anything else that you may have heard is speculation.

Reminded me of a colleague of mine, he had one of the Nokia Windows Phone. It was funny because every time we send group messages (SMS) he would get them separately. Like he would only see half of the conversation from each person because the phone wasn't able to group the messages together.
