I am literally in Monterey CA at this moment and can't get Monterey OS for my M1 MacBook Air. WTF???
Nah. We used a tardisWhy are people on a Monterey thread downloading Big Sur? Time Warp?
Weird how all of us waiting for Monterey to pop up rendered our expensive MacBooks into 3lb paperweights.
Is this normal?
IDK, but me and my mid-2012 MBP are staying with Mojave, I have 32bit apps I'm not willing to dump just yet; and, the best I can do (without finagling) is Catalina.btw does this mark end-of-support for mojave?
Hope you recover from this.Monterey just popped up on my iMac. Talk about a waste of time trying to install 11.6.1.
According to Mr. Macintosh's mailing list, the build number of the official release version is 21A559, which also happens to be the build number of RC2. So, I guess we're set. (I deleted my profile too, but there was no update for me either.)Ok so RC2 was the final beta and what everyone else gets? No changes and no updates for us beta users? I deleted my profile and went to update and nothing.
Yeah, same. I want some features such as live text and low power mode though, however an app I use doesn't seem to work that well with macOS Monterey.I have the option to download Monterey but not going to just yet. Big Sur is working fine for me on the m1 MBP. Don't really see any benefits of upgrading just yet.
Never saw 11.6.1 download on my M1 MacMini. But, my Late 2015 27” got the 11.6.1 earlier today. Then I tried for an update. At first is said k was up to date. Second try Monterey downloading now. I’m guessing this will be the last major OS update for the 2015 iMac.11.6.1 has disappeared for me now
Hahha...same here.Monterey just popped up on my iMac. Talk about a waste of time trying to install 11.6.1.
