Just a warning to anyone using watchos27 beta and ios27 betas and using an Hermes (at least the s10): the watch app on beta 2 of iOS 27 beta crashes each time 1-2 seconds after the watch app window comes up following the icon being pressed. Apparently based on the beta forums posts, apparently it’s affecting people with the Hermes watches as some others with ultra/ultra 2 have no issues.

Also watch os beta 2 itself is a Buggy hot mess, more than I’ve ever seen on a beta, runs hot, loses battery life and worse yet has the watch face rebooting (like a springboard reset of sort) sporadically. Charging my watch after an hour, I’m still getting the watch showing low battery with the red charging indicator. It’s a mess.

Just wanted to warn anyone who’s thinking of installing beta27 on their phone or watch. If anyone is on watch os27 beta 1, I would hold off on installing beta 2 based on my personal experience today having experienced all of the above issues.

I know it’s my fault for running betas, but any chance Apple can do anything about it if I take the watch into the store given the watch not being able to charge is making it unusable? I have an s10 Hermes. I figured I’d pose the equation here if anyone had any experience with this in the past years and if was able to help…before I make an appt with Apple.

I have this same mess on my S10H. Erasing all settings and setting it up as a new watch also still results in the watch face rebooting every few minutes.

Same here

Agree, I tried the same with no luck. My S10 Hermes watch is currently a paperweight. Ready to pair, but the watch app on the phone will crash each time setup proceeds. I'm contemplating seeing if apple store can downgrade it to watch os 11 (the prev one) or should I just wait 2 weeks till ios beta 3 comes out (assuming that will allow watch to pair and allow the watch to upgrade to watchos beta 3 also) and let this thing sit in a drawer till then.

Today I contacted my local Hermès shop, and they told me I should bring in my metal ‘Grand H’ Apple Watch band so they can send it to Paris to have an extra link added. Are the links not available for separate purchase anywhere? I also find it very difficult to remove the links myself — is that normal?

This happened to my Kilim band - unfortunately I don’t think I have the receipt from the Hermes stores in Selfridges, London and I bought it over a year ago.

Would Hermes replace this band?

I didn’t make it worse by twisting it for this photo, in case anyone is wondering.

I raised the same question with Hermes in nyc and got inconsistent responses. I am certainly not sure that Hermes Paris will add an extra link. I also found their size chart to be wrong. The one on Apple is much better for sizing. Things run too small with the Hermes guide for males. I am between medium and large. I just removed a link. The links are hard to remove.

Dtopsie (spelling?) had the same issue.

They contacted Hermes and got the run around. Didn’t sound like a fun experience.

Yes, @Dstopsie had this issue. Maybe she can tell you what she did and the result.

I never put a watch beta on a watch itself but ios 26 beta 2’s watch.app kept crashing with Hermes 7/8 watches on wrist and then wouldn’t let me pair a watch of any stripe.

Beta 3 seems to have fixed my issues. Anyone gonna try putting their Hermes on watchOS 26 beta today?

Man, my watch isn't even updating to the new beta. Keeps hanging.
Been waiting the past week for this update because the previous beta made the watch unusable.

Reporting after around 2 months of daily use of the Simple Tour Tricot including 2 weeks wearing it 24 hours during a vacation in Florida which means beach, swimming in the ocean and in the pool, shower, workout etc.

According to Hermès (translated from French) : "the single tour knitted nylon strap "En Mer" of the Apple Watch Hermès Ultra is resistant to water and corrosion, and dries quickly: about in 1 hour at 20°C.
Also, this model is designed to be used during sports activities.
So you can use it for your sports sessions and clean it with mild soap and a soft brush."

I assumed that this what the same for the Tricot 😅

As you can see on the pictures it's pretty in good shape. I was just careful to rinse it with clean water after going into the salted water of the sea.

Looking for your advice please.
I have both the small Series 10 Hermès and the UW2 Hermès.
Lots of Hermès straps for the small Apple Watch also.
But I find it sometimes a bit small and the UW2 not always suitable (office, dinner, pretty thick ...)
So I was wondering if a big 46mm Series 10 (or maybe 11 at this time of the year) was a good idea.
For my strap collection for sure not but I have another issue; I have a small wrist and it looks like the rubber bands (and even the leather one) are too big for me. At the early time of the AW Apple was providing two size (S/M and M/L) but I don't think it's the case anymore.
So anyone with a small wrist and 46mm AW ? How do you deal with it ?
Thanks! ... and I'm not looking in definitive answers here, just your opinion.
