So, I wanted to get some opinions - I currently have the Faubourg Party band which I think is fun, but quite expensive for a textile band. I like it well enough, but am considering switching it out for the Noir Clou de Selle leather band that is currently available. I saw it this past weekend here at a local Hermes store and was reminded how nice the Hermes leather are (I do have a few already), and with the Clou de Selle accent, the black looked really nice! I already have the Brown clou de selle from the prev releases and it is beautiful, however the brown does have some really nice accents and additional stitching not there in the noire version.

I was trying refrain from buying bands this generation, but the fun/exclusive nature of the Faubourg got to me. I would like to avoid buying both, but perhaps I may at some point. Just curious, which of the two would you guys prefer if you had to choose one, just wanted a 3rd party opinion since my wife has requested I not bother her again for the 30th time about this lol.

Hello, long time lurker, first time poster here:

I have a question regarding the Beton Radial watch face date complication (right side, replacing the number 3). The Beton Radial watchface is my favorite, but this is driving me nuts.

The frame is supposed to be bright orange when the display is active, and dark muted orange when in passive always-on-mode.

This frame around the date seems to be buggy on my Series 11. Sometimes, everything works as intended. Often, when the watch wakes up (tap or movement), the frame stays dark (see picture). Only once you interact with the watch again (button press, turning the crown etc.) the frame turns bright orange as intended. Once the watch changes back to AoD, it then stays bright orange and does not darken down.

Has anyone noticed this? Is there a tweak or a workaround to correct this?

That’s a hard one! If I really had to choose between those two I’d go for the Clou de Selle.. perfect all rounder with the little extra. But you’ll miss the Faubourg Party if you would get rid of it;)

Was thinking the same re Clou de selle being a great all rounder band, since I actually dont have an all-black leather band for my apple watch after all these years (closest I have is the noir/bleu 'e' motif leather band from a few gens ago and the all black kilim).

But I see your gist with that last thought as well, ha ;)

The Beton color has been buggy since day one. I think most of us are still experiencing the quirky behavior with the orange date border that you've described. I love the color concept, but the contrast could be better, at least on my S9. I wish the Beton background color was a little darker. To my eyes, it doesn't seem much different than the white face. Same with the hollow Cape Cod numerals. I wish they were a little darker and bolder to pop against the light background.
