This bug was in 26.4 when the new colors were introduced. Same resolution. Rebooting both devices resolved it. Weird to see it persist.

Ah! I was upgrading this pair of devices directly from iOS 18 to iOS 26.5, so that must be why. I had to restart everything several times, because at first the new faces wouldn't even install on the watch. Very buggy.
I also see one of the other long running bugs still isn't fixed: if I long-press the watch face to enter the face selection view, when I go back to the watch face the crown no longer responds to scrolling (to open the Smart Stack or notifications). I've only ever seen this bug on Hermès watches. Because I frequently changes faces, I'm constantly seeing this bug. (it's easily fixed: just press the crown to go to the home screen, and that "resets" it and it works again... but still, very annoying)

Most of these you can really only confirm in person. Could maybe ask for a clearer picture of the imprinted date code.
I also don’t buy from anyone with less than 100% rating. Someone with a 98.5% rating screwed me.

I know this. It simply depends on your preference - but a sliding watch with a heavy band is not really something comfortable. Take the link out and use an alternative band "in summer"...
One more thing: If the watch is too loose, the sensors are not working properly and the watch asks for the code, because it thinks, you took it off.

Thanks for your reply. It’s not so loose as to trigger a code, but it really falls down to my wrist bone.
Been happily on the Series 10 Hermes while still occasionally using my AWU1 when working out etc, but when a three month old Hermes AWU3 popped up for sale locally at half off retail price (pristine condition with all packaging and even the receipt from Hermes), I felt like it was time to change out the AWU1 to this one (especially since Apple is already dropping watchOS updates for it). So far quite happy with the watch and the thinner bezels actually make the watchface look so much better! Also quite happy with the ScubH band that came with this watch!

If you look at the price of the ScubH band alone, you got kind of a free watch with it - congrats 🙂
So true! I was a little shocked looking at the retail price of the Scub’H given it’s essentially a Kilim with titanium hardware - and not even a deployment buckle… love the orange but don’t think I will pull the trigger for now. The only drawback of this purchase is that the watch is outside of the validity period to get AppleCare coverage and my country doesn’t have AppleCare One. I heard we can try to get coverage as long as it’s within the original 1 year manufacturer warranty though… will try my luck at an Apple Store soon!
Didn't know that there seems to be an SOP at Apple Store where once you mention that you are looking to purchase AC+ outside of the purchase window, as long as it is purchased locally and it's still within limited warranty period, all that needs to be done is an AppleCare check with your device at the Store and the item will then be greenlisted for AC+ purchase (for 10 days apparently, based on what I saw). The watch is now covered for the full 3 years from date of AC+ purchase, effectively extending it by slightly over 3 months from actual purchase date. Not bad!
After pondering for a while Ordered the original Rallye from Japan. Was very pleasantly surprised that it even had the tag cover still on it really was brand new absolutely loving it. They listed as 41/42 mm but it fits the ultra perfectly.

Has anyone noticed the "orange border" on this watch face on always? is this a new thing??? (I only noticed when having to reset my watch). I love it. The "normal" one I am used to is the picture next to it.

So jealous of the Maritime face on the the Ultra. Wish we had it on the regular Hermès series. I'd gladly trade it for either the Lucky Horse or Circuit-H faces. Curious to see if either watch gets a new Hermès face this year...

It is cute. I love the artist, Tibor Kárpáti, who designed the face, but I find that I rarely use it. I just love the simplicity of the Maritime face. I have an app that accurately recreates the face in 'wake' mode, but it can't replicate the elegant interlocking numerals in always-on mode.
Apple’s watch repair depot not only failed to repair my worn out battery, but they dented it, packed it up, and sent it back to me. This is the fourth Hermes I’ve bought, and getting help for the service that I am trying to pay for out of warranty is like pulling teeth. They make them non-serviceable and it becomes your problem once the battery health begins to drop.
It’s my second watch they’ve damaged and returned to me (first was a series 0 that they clearly dropped and allowed to skid across the ground). Pitiful customer service.
This is my last Apple Watch as long as the awful, awful, awful repair depot exists as your only option for service. Make sure you keep AppleCare+ forever if you’re going to own one of these!

Apple does not "repair" a watch with a worn out battery, they replace the whole thing. They also do that with a Hermès watch, you aquired at Hermès, as Apple is responsible for the technical part. That is, what I was told at Hermès and an Apple Store.
Happened to my Hermès Series 5 with a battery <80% - I got a completely new watch.

I get a dark blue steady ring with orange inscription with "always on" in both variants of that watchface.
Your version additionally is much too bright for an inactive "always on" display. Strange...
That’s true, but my point is that the depot continues to reject a repair that was approved by senior advisors because my health is at 85%, but the battery is having voltage issues. They couldn’t duplicate the issue in the 90 minutes between opening the box and shipping it back to me, so they took zero action.
I quite literally cannot pay for a battery replacement, and now I have a damaged watch. The fact that they made them non-serviceable shouldn't be my problem, but it is.

At 85% Apple will not do anything, that is true.
If I look at your picture, this looks like normal wear ant tear microscrathes. I have it too on my watches. I sometimes polish them with "Cape Cod" polishing cloth and get them shiny again. "Cape Cod" removes an incredible amount of scratches on steel surfaces.
