I'm sure they're keeping Hiro in Level 5 because possibly Ms. Petrelli wanted the formula from Kaito for herself, and thinks Hiro might spoil her plans.

I've got to say, as much of a douche as Sylar has been for killing people and all... he's pretty awesome. I'm liking him more and more as the series goes on, and not just this season...

I watched the first part of the season premiere and fell asleep during the second. I just caught up on hulu and I think I'm hooked again, at least for a while.

Finally got more info about Tracy. Seems she's not Niki after all. Now we just gotta figure out who this Dr. Zimmerman is and why/how he "created" her.

This also leaves open the possiblity that there's more of these girls out there, we already know of three: Niki, Jessica and now Tracy, so who's to say there's not more?

probably a mad scientist that made replicas. likely linked to the formula in some way giving these girls a power.

and the writers are getting sloppy, how did claire's mom not suffocate while claire did with the fire? and i want a good fight by the end of the season please.

Two possible explanations:
She is telling Claire about water boarding, and that your brain thinks you are suffocating but you really aren't i.e. it is only in Claire's head.

Or, part of Claire's mother's power is that she doesn't need as much oxygen! Which would be handy if your power is making fire...

I have to agree; if Claire's mom doesn't get burned from her fire, it would make sense for her to not need oxygen either. Kind of like how some of the other character's powers don't affect them (like how the Haitian blocks everyone's powers except his own).

i'm hoping it's just in claire's head and not the latter explanation, because it sounds like a copout. i've seen other people with fire powers on other shows, and they all needed normal amounts of oxygen to breathe and make fire, otherwise they couldn't make fire and/or suffocate.

Surely if she makes fire then she'd need more oxygen than a normal person?

Anyroad. Good ep. Bit of a let down with Peter - was looking forward to seeing a glimpse into the Hero's future  . Didn't like that guys paintings though. Yea that first psychic artist worked, but a geezer in Africa painting comic book style? No. Surely the images would be more tribal based using ocra based colours and such?
But his voice. Damn that's soothing.

I can imagine this Zimmerman story being something like Eevee.

Well, Jessica was Niki's sister, not her. However, there might be a bunch more of them running around out there; I doubt that though, it seems too implausible.

i agree. i'm definately starting to love skylar as a character. he's really interesting and has many more elements to his personality than i first thought.

when it comes to nikki however, i miss her as a character. i dont think tracy strauss can fill the void that nikki left in the cast.:(

but dr. zimmerman is going to be an interesting character. i bet he has a cloning ability or what not. and the fact that tracy and nikki have different abilities astounds me.

Well, Mohinder did say that every individual's blood chemistry is unique and that abilities could manifest in an infinite number of ways. For instance, my identical twin and I have our own unique qualities and are not perfectly identical.

Yeah, I really love Sylar and if he wasn't a deranged serial killer, he would be the best agent for the Company (if the Company itself was good) possible, except for maybe Peter.

Yeah, I think Dr. Zimmerman will be really cool. Can't wait for more information about him. Plus, I like his accent.

finally, a half decent fight on the show!!! but there was something in the episode that felt very off...could be another red flag that the show may be going down the toilet. i think it was because peter had sylar's ability, i didn't like that move very much, and seemed very cheesy.

and looks like claire will grow up to become a nut. she reminded me of a terminator almost. but i'm wondering about noah (sylar's son), is he the same noah that adopted claire?

what worries me more is what could be around the corner for next week's show, as it sounds like the company is fooling around with everyone's genes to give abilities out instead of them being somewhat naturally occurring. i really don't want this show to go x-files on me.

How did Zimmerman know about her having powers if they took away his memory? Take away the specifics and not the fact he created super-beings? Noah's wife seemed to need to lose more.

And why do they need to bring back Adam? If Heroes lasts a 4th season it almost needs a reboot... Season 1: See the future, stop the world from blowing up. Season 2: See the future, stop a virus. Season 3: See the future, stop the world from blowing up.

And why do we need so many people that see the future? Sylar and Peter have Issac's ability - Do we need Mrs. Peterilli, the African, and Parkman now too? And if seeing the future is such a common power, why don't more people in the '4 years future' have it? Surely the world blowing up would be BIG news and psychics would be easier to believe than people flying (Less skeptics in the future, ie: world disaster more believable)

Maybe they're going Terminator 3 on us and tell us no matter what we do the world will be destroyed. It is inevitable.

Definitely getting good again, looks like they're really trying to keep things flipping to the point where we'll have no clue who the real bad guy(s) is(are).

I had already called Tracy as Nikki's/Jessica's other sister (after speculating that she was Jessica), and I knew Linderman was in Nathan's head long before it was revealed. I really didn't find it all that shocking since Linderman only spoke with/to Nathan and had no interactions with anyone else. I also noticed that the girl Parkman was holding in the paintings looked a lot like the Daphne. Of course now that we know all this you'll have to take my word for it, but honest, I saw it all coming!:)

Am I the only one disappointed that the big cliffhanger with Jesse being so dangerous and then only seemed to be able to shout really loud?

Too many plot lines and not enough direction... I remember this happening with Season 1 and 2 so I'll be patient and wait for everything to come together. I just don't like all these separate story lines. I like my characters together and for the plot to make sense easily. Don't get me wrong, I love surprises and twists, but to have one character as two people in two different times is starting to get a little too difficult to follow as a casual viewer. I don't want to have to take notes and draw out time and story lines to enjoy my Monday evening show.

How exactly could Sylar's son be Claire's adoptive father? (Little) Noah looked to be about 4 years old (funny! That's how far in the future they were!) and in the present, Claire's adoptive father is probably 40 something. Unless Bennet got the ability to age in reverse very quickly, that just doesn't make any sense. However, I do think (little) Noah was named for Bennet. And may I say that future-Sylar (though by then he's called Gabriel again) is really cool! He's nice and he controlled his power so that he wasn't a psychopathic killer anymore.

What I want to know is what happened to (present) Nathan's family. He had a wife and kids, his kids even appeared early in Season 2, what happened to them?

Finally, I can't wait to see what happens to Mohinder. At the end when he pulled the guy into his apartment and the camera zooms out to just the door shutting, I couldn't help but think of the scene in Men in Black where the bug eats Tommy Lee Jones. Especially since Mohinder seems to be turning into a bug of some sort. Perhaps a strange cockroach? After all, he said in the first episode of the series that the cockroach was at the pinnacle of evolution. A clue, perhaps?

i was thinking little noah could be a john connor complex (noah sent back in time to the 60's, lives there and becomes older than his father).

i think sylar at that point was more of a 'recovering druggie', always reminding himself where he has come from and keeping his addictions in check for his son.

the wife divorced him and he's not allowed to see them.

but here are some more questions: if nikki, tracey and barbara are triplets, why did nikki think about jessica all of the time? another company experiment that made her develop the duel personality disorder and delusional thoughts about people that never existed?

here are my complaints about the show from the last few weeks though. first off, as someone else said, too many prophecy based powers on the show, i wouldn't mind one or two, but we currently have four on the show that fit this profile. it's getting repetitive and most of the plot is drawing to similar to season one. get some new powers out there and a few new personalities (as in a couple of brawlers that are neutral, a repentant killer, etc.) instead of what is a mostly passive cast scared to use their powers (i'm talking about good guys mostly though).

second, i'm not liking the overall sloppy writing for this season or the direction i think it's taking to where all of the people with abilities were essentially experimented on early in life by the company. it sounds too cheesy and smells of x-files.

thirdly, the plot is getting repetitive of the world getting destroyed and the prophets finding out about it so fast. it's okay for now, but i don't want the same ending as season one with a lame fight at the end.

fourth, i do think we need a reboot for season four of some sort, with more fights and no prophecies of what will happen, but spending more time to figure that out.

just something to chew on.

I about fell on the floor when ol' Doc said Barbara and not Jessica!

They got some 'splainin' to do.

No. When Bennet said that "You don't even want to know" to Claire, I though "sonic manipulation" on the computer screen could be a little cooler.

I agree with all the prophecy stuff, though admittedly Matt only used it once (or are we not mentioning him?). I like the whole Sylar thing, thought I don't agree with the "John Conner" theory. Seems weird; Bennet would act differently, wouldn't he, if he knew the future would be like that? I want to know who (little) Noah's mom is. Wouldn't it be just scandalous if it was Claire? Though I highly doubt that. Anyway, I really do want a real fight, the one in the last episode was cool, but I super fight with a lot of people and with multiple powers (especially if Peter would use more of his powers) would be awesome.

That's because it was Daphne. That scene where they were in the future after Claire shot Peter.. she was the one that went home to ask Molly to find Peter. When Gabriel went supernova and blew up Costa Verde, she came back and said "I wasn't fast enough." Putting one and one together....

Scandalous would be an understatement since she would have to have slept with her uncle.

What is weird is how Peter ended up getting Gabriel's power.. by fixing a watch?!? WTF?

Since we know that this 'future' is going to change, we really can't take anything of it into account unless they fail to stop the person putting the formula together.

I am seeing some delicious ironies in this season so far. Noah having to work with the guy who was out to kill his adoptive daughter; Peter meeting his brother and fighting alongside with, who he tried to kill 2 seasons ago. Hiro and Adam having to work together again.

Hmm.. could Zimmerman be one of the people in the photo that Adam was supposed to kill, like he did Hiro's father?

Also.. anybody notice how when Peter shouts, his mouth gets all messed up like Sylvester Stallone in Rocky? :D
BL.

What Jimmi loved about Heroes series 1 - it's one track plot direction.
What Jimmi loved about Lost - that the story goes everywhere, gets lost and then has to find its way back again.

And never the 2 should meet. I don't like the way they're going now. I liked Heroes because it was direct. Also don't like how they're dawdling again. Series 2 had much more speed to it (obviously) and I'm missing that.
I dunno :(

I got the impression that Tracey had been separated from the others at birth and that Nikki witnessed the abuse that led to the death of Jessica, hence the split personallity.

I know that, I was bragging about my prognosticatory (holy crap! the spell checker actually liked that word) skills. I saw the painting last week and thought it looked like Daphne, before it was revealed this week. But you only have my word to go by on that.
