Hershey chocolate is incredibly waxy.

I like Cadbury chocolate, but I find it dry. I am addicted to Cabury eggs during Easter time. I wish they would quit making them (the eggs) smaller.

Milka chocolate is my favorite.

I forgot to mention Sees Candy- pure delight based in California! :D

Those Hershey Kisses taste like cardboard and I always turned them down when I was younger.

I now enjoy Lindt, Ferraro Rocher, and various Belgian chocolates. I used to love KitKat and Coffee Crisp but stopped buying them when the manufacturers started to make them smaller and smaller while prices went up. I'd say they don't like they used to either.

Reeces= superb.

I also love Cabury filled eggs, and caramel filled chocolate bars, so there is hope for me in the chocolate connoisseur department. ;)

I had a cadbury creme egg for the first time in years the other day, they are amazing but again, I was dissapointed with sweets and chocolate in general in the US. Although the food portions for ££ made up for it no problem haha.

...wax with a hint of mystery chocolate powder and no texture. Kisses are the worst, since its wrapped in foil instead of sealed like a bar... the waxy nature absorbs surrounding odors and whatnot, very cardboard-ish.

I'd rather have Nestle than touch Hershey chocolate, Aero Bars are an orgasm for the mouth :D

I'm one of those strange women that hates chocolate. That is, until I tried some in Japan. The girl I was dating at the time gave me chocolates for White Day, I'll be honest, I ate it to be polite, but OMG it was yummy.

After coming home to the states, I tried chocolate here, and it just tasted "off". Friends then introduced me to more "artesian" and European chocolates, and realized I do like chocolate, just not the cheap Hershey's stuff.

Also: still love Japanese Kit-Kats, some of the best (and surreal) flavored candies.

I avoid American "chocolate" altogether. It's rubbish.

Any European chocolate, even store brand, will be better than that.

I'm a Ritter Sport guy, very good bang for the buck.
Certainly, any Lindt will be quite good.

Not all American chocolate is bad, you just have to search for it. There are great independent chocolate makers in the US that would rival anything overseas.

Sure. it's like with American beer.

There are small craft breweries that make good stuff, but 95% of what is sold in the market it is crap.
