Oh good lord the sky must be falling....I could have sworn you were Batman reborn as a hawk.

Of course I knew you were Harvey Birdman, I watch cartoons as well :D Personally I have to say that I prefer Family Guy to Birdman, but change is good and all things have a shelf-life, so I am fine with your current tar decision as well.

How are things on the cartoon front? Anything new and interesting lately? (since I cannot keep up in France without TV and even then, I haven't seen a cartoon on TV here at other's homes anyway....)

Ah, excellent, a lot of people don't recognize the character - good to see a fellow cartoon fan on the Forums!

Yes, I prefer Family Guy as well (if I had to choose I suppose, but I don't, since I can have both ;)) but Birdman is stupidly funny as well. I own the Volume I DVD, have all of Season 2 downloaded, and can't wait for the third season to start, I believe it should be any time now!

And yes, I decided to give my string of Family Guy avatars a rest for now...

As for Family Guy, I trust you are aware of this thread?

Today has to be one of the most emotional days I have had in weeks. First I find out you are not a hill, then that ~Shard~ is not infact Batman....*searches for pills*

Who said I wasn't Batman? How do you know Batman doesn't enjoy watching Harvey Birdman? Ah, but I've said too much...

Yes, however not being able to watch and follow along, it is more of a spoiler thread for me than anything else. Granted reading about FG prior to seeing an episode isn't as bad as being given the ending to a blockbuster movie, however I still prefer to see them for the first time and then discuss them. I can't wait to get home and start watching everything again.

So how long are you in France for, what for, and when will you be home? Just curious. :)

I am in France for a total of 3 months, however quite thankfully (no offense here, I love it, just happy to head home) 2.5 months have passed and I will be leaving in just over two weeks.

I am here for work, a NPD (new product development) project that we had thought we could join internationally between the US and the company here (which my company in the US owns). After working on it for 1.5 months we had a meeting here with some other US-ers flown in, and it was decided that the project is not going to be joint. So, since I was involved and it was planned for 3 months, I am here continuing to help French development out for the remainder of my time.

I will be heading back to comfy Grand Rapids, MI on July 7 (don't hijack my plane please!!!) and then I have to head back to school on the 11th....quite the break I know :(

Well I don't know about you guys but I actually AM a demon.

I'm but a simple lad. A pitchfork will answer most of life's problems.

That reminds me of an aweful joke involving bowling balls and ______, however it is soooo aweful and offensive I feel dirty just thinking about it again and I don't want to share it. Funny, but incredibly offensive :(

A pitchfork can however solve many problems, like dispersuing woodchips around one's lawn ;)

Why last summer I used a pitchfork to put woodchips in buckets so that I could disperse them around my lawn.

I mean
wait
I'm in hell.

That must have been a dream.

They don't let you put woodchips on the mini-lawn you get in hell? Or did you not dish-out for that model flat down there?

My reservation is for the single-bedroom (plan to be single there) extremo-sexy flat with mini-lawn allowing 2, but no more, lawn-ornaments (because those are the true definition of evil!). Nice little place, I really liked the photos, but the virtual tour is what sold me on my plot

Woodchips rule. In reality I'm not so sure, but it certainly seemed like the appropriate thing to say.

Ssssssss yeah...... you see, by lawn is kinda full right now, i've got 160 lawn gnomes which I thought I was ordering on a good deal, turns out I got ripped off royally.

Go figure, I guess you can't find good deals in hell either.

So anyway, nope no room for woodchips on my lawn.
Though I really wish I could have some.

Back to reality.

I actually did use a pitchfork to put woodchips into buckets to take all over my lawn last summer.

My whole yard is a garden, and we have mulch (woodchip) paths everywhere.
It's sweet.

If you change "some" to equal "all", I fully agree with you :D

In a bucket!? There is this invention called a "wheel barrow". I realize this may be hard to grasp, but here it goes. It is essentially like a very large bucket atop an axle and wheel which you can transport easily mass quantities of woodchip mulch (or what have you) and then "dump" the "package" at the "drop off". Your employer will not only be happy by your efficiency, but also driving the little beast is just plain fun!

So this yard of your's seems pretty nice. Care to take a picture of those little paths? I would be interested to see a little more of what you are describing.

Well you see the pile of mulch was on my driveway, and to get to the yard is a set of 3 stairs, then a set of 4 stairs right after a tight corner.

Try taking a wheelbarrow full of mulch down some stairs and we'll talk ;)

Also my employer was my mom.

I'd take pictures of these paths, but alas for the most part, they are overrun by weeds this year.

And we only have film camera's at my house.

(good ones though, don't worry)

Well actually I do take wheelbarrows full of stuff (not just woodchips) up and down stairs I thank you :p. My employer is my father (at times....less often recently) and he is more concerned with speed and efficiency than a few spills in the grass or on the stairs I guess.

Oh well, he is getting old and I impatient, I hope this year is the last for woodchips

My mom's pretty chill about that stuff so she didn't mind. My mom would care more about the spilling than the efficiency, and come to think about it, I don't think I'd be able to use the wheel barrow on those stairs. Too narrow at the turn.

Congratulations. :)

Sometimes it takes a while for the system to update (or whatever it does). Don't worry, patience is a virtue, you'll get it soon enough.

you sound like General Tarkin.
