But 'anyone' hasn't collated these people's stories into a book. From the info in this post, it's clear the Clintons have.

And it would be naive to think that 'anyone' would have the name recognition to bring an audience.

Despite it seeming that – from the comments so far – most of the MacRumors readership of this thread are vehemently anti-Clinton, there needs to be recognition that to many people (and not just those in the USA), they are respected.

I'd hope that anyone who takes pride in thinking for themselves would put aside partisanship to give someone who is clearly an intellectual public person a(nother) chance, and potentially hear more they may not have otherwise learned.
Nah, both parties can agree that she's fake. She already failed to rally her own voters against Trump in 2016, riding on a platform that contradicts a lot of what she's said in the past. And no, Trump being a lot worse (which he is) doesn't make her any good.

I don't know. She, Hillary, submitted to a nearly 12 hour grilling, and the GOP found nothing. Trump goes on Fox NEws and gets a sloppy kiss.
Ok. She is still not likable by a majority of Americans and if she was she would be President right now, despite any Russian interference.

Haha, I agree, there’s nothing more annoying than social justice cos it has nothing to do with justice nor facts nor logic. Apple doesn’t think different when it comes to this stuff. If they did, they would do a show featuring Thomas Sowell and David Rubin. That said, I think 95% of ATV shows aren’t worth watching. I’d lump this with those.
I was with you 100% until the last sentence where it went completely off the rails. 95% of ATV shows are absolutely worth watching.

Well, she was likable by a majority of Americans who voted in the last election, it's just that the majority of the popular vote isn't how presidential elections are decided.
No, she was voted lesser of the two evils by the popular vote, by myself included. She was a terrible candidate who ran a terrible campaign and got beat by the possibly the worst human being to run in modern times.

Well, whatever the reasoning was, in terms of the majority and being the president, the majority of the votes still went to her, it's just not what is used to determine the presidential winner. Perhaps it's more than even with a majority there needed to be an even bigger majority in particular places to mean that she would be the president.

As a Democrat, I think it's time we heard less from the Clintons and moved on, same way I hope we never hear from Trump again.
I have no use for political dynasties whether it is Bush, Clinton, or Kennedy. You’ll never see a big tech company give Trump a show even though he is the only one with actual TV experience. It would actually make sense for Trump to be involved with TV and movies. It makes no sense that these other hacks are.

So my free 1 year sub was extended until Jan or Feb recently and I thought, since I have Apple music family I was going to go for the Apple One plan or whatever it is called when the sub was up.

I am seriously considering NOT doing it. If I don't it will be this kind of Social Justice love fest content, they are pushing so hard with that will be the reason. I do NOT want this kind of stuff, in my entertainment, whether it be television, sports or video games.

The very fact that I will have to see this plastered at the top of my Apple TV screen for 3-4 months when it comes out, like Oprah stuff I never watched either, is going to be irritating to say the least.
Completely understandable.
But think about Servant, Ted Lasso, Morning Show, Defending Jacob, the music/world documentaries, etc... it’s likely that you enjoyed a couple of those massively, as they are quality shows (all of them got me by surprise for real, some of them I was even expecting way more forced politically correct content and it didn’t shove it).

I think they are worth having to go through some forced ads if that happens to trigger disgust so much.
I also think that Apple listens to the customers base, judging by the comment sections and like to dislikes ratio, we could extrapolate a bit how these shows might do... at least in this community.

Regardless of your political leanings, this is a very unlikable person. I won’t run to my cancel button (the lack of regular content will do that) for it, but I’d like to see some alternate perspectives to counter. Seems like tech companies are hell bent to indoctrinate you to think a certain way.

I’m no rabid GOP guy but if you can’t see the bias then either you’ve been properly conditioned, no re-education camp for you, or lying to yourself. I want to see both sides and call BS on either, from my perspective.

Honestly I wish entertainment platforms avoid to promote political agendas. That's the way they convince me to stop my subscriptions. Or, at least, if they really love the truth, they should host contents with more than one political view or opinion. This is the correct way to inform, otherwise is just propaganda in one direction, and usually who makes proganda pays for it, not the opposite.

Apple EVER criticising China? LOL, Fairy tale...
Yeah, Mr Tim love to pontificate from pulpits or in front of on knees journalists who ask him planned questions about "civil rights" (fundamentally all the right that make you the perfect customer, no mention of other rights), he often talks about politics etc. Guess what? he never said anything about what China is doing to Hong Kong, or the fact that there, in 3 years, 100 entrepreneurs were arrested for futile reasons and their companies absorbed by the government.

1) You run a company you don't talk about politics, you are not credible, there is an interests conflict.
2) If you really want to be a politician in a more credible position you have just to resign as CEO.
3) If you really can't do point 1 and 2, at least sometimes, pick up also some unconfortable subject.
4) I miss Steve Jobs because he was a honest rethoric-free CEO.
