Have you ever heard of Pandora? It is really great you know.

Have you ever heard of Earth? Believe it or not, on this funny little green and blue ball there are 202 sovereign states outside the US! Who would have thought!

I like my iPhone but I'm not married to it. If someone comes out with a better product I'm out of here. I still think not supporting Flash was a big mistake that will hurt in the long run.

Wanted: Global BT or Docking Keyboard Entry

Multitasking
Folders
Front facing camera
Larger Capacity
Better screen resolution

Im sorry, but what else were you expecting Apple to pull out of the bag?

As an Apple user since Apple began, it's been painful for me to NOT buy an iPhone. But I don't care about games -- for that I'll keep an iPod Touch at home.

The ONLY WAY Apple is going to sell me an iPhone is to allow global use of external keyboards, docking or BT. I want to be able to whip out a foldable keyboard and not be stuck with touch-screen entry on teeny letters.

Then I could leave my laptop at home, and use the iPhone for meeting notes, rough drafts, and so forth.

Until then, I'll keep my itty-bitty phone with great reception and low fees, and use my laptop for everything else.

My ignorant response was in response to your ignorant baseless banter. You should switch to sugarless cool-aid sometimes. ;)

This coming from the guy who incorrectly quoted my post from another thread altogether. Real winner right here folks. Let's give him a prize!

I don't know why you keep saying that. What he quoted and responded to in his post #24 was from your post #6 on this very thread.

It was officially announced for iPhone OS 4.0. You will be able to use external Bluetooth keyboards with iPhone the same way iPad is able to do it.

I still think the EVO has the upper hand there. It will be a lot easier to use the keyboard with the stand the evo has.

Apple... come on now, those hardware features already look like they're gonna kill the 4th gen iphone. Please tell me you have more up your sleeve and that the 4g we saw was an early adoption.

If you're this much into specs, I recommend you just get the EVO.

I made the switch to the Nexus One for six days, and it was literally the worst device I owned when compared to an iPhone.

The android OS feels unfinished and crashes a lot when doing a lot of things, for instance streaming video after video would result in the video application crashing. Once it was available to play videos again, it would "fail to load."

The application store is pretty awful right now, not to say it won't be better in the future. There are literally no useful applications for productivity and the games are horrible. I however, do not use my phone for gaming so that didn't bother me.

The Nexus One has superior specifications, but the operating system feels Ike a beta. What is the point of having all of that power, when it can't be harnessed?

I can't imagine the Evo getting a better version of Android then Google's own branded phone.

iPhone OS is definitely tight and polished

I'm hoping the new iPhone has features that keep me on board

The 30 day test drive of the EVO back to back with the iPhone will probably happen with me

C'mon Apple, bring it on home!

That has been my experience. I found the android OS to be stable and capable. The hardware of the N1 was very good, better then the iPhone with one exception. The touch screen, the iPhone's touch screen was much better then the Nexus.

I agree and disagree with you on this point. I had not realized a little fact until I posted something on an android forum and that is that there are a number of websites that have tons of android apps. More then the "official" app store and they're much easier to navigate/search. Basically I agree that the regular app store is pretty pathetic but there are other better sites to get android apps.

I'm taking a wait and see attitude with the EVO vs. iPhone. The iPhone has a lot going for it, but if apple plays it safe and only offer a minor update to the iphone. I'll probably jump ship.

What did I miss here?

Evo is getting the HTC Sense UI version of Android 2.1 which, if reviews of the Incredible are to be believed (Incredible also has the HTC Sense UI) is a major improvement on the stock Android on the Nexus. Check out some of the Sense UI videos on youtube. Really fast and nice looking.

Wow, look at all those crazy specs and features. The iPhone only needs one spec on it.

iPhone:
Awesome

Nuff said.

It all comes down to using it. Sure, it can have all the features in the world, but if the consumer doesn't get a good experience while using it, it's not going to beat the iPhone.

That's all.
