🤣 Absolutely NO idea what's going on, but it's still funny! That Siri is able to understand Danish at all is a small wonder...

If they keep rolling it out in additional countries, I wonder if it means that no upgrade’s coming soon…
I’d like to see the HomePod Mini being usable as a Bluetooth speaker… got myself a Bluetooth turntable that of course doesn’t support Airplay so that’s kind of a dealbreaker for me…Not sure there is anything to update/improve for an "HomePod Mini" (at least not the HW).
>IF< Apple does another HomePod it will either be something bigger (but not as pricey as the OG) or maybe some sort of ATV-HP hybrid with a screen.

Why don’t you just tell Siri who your girlfriend and say “call my girlfriend”? Problem solved.for all I care they can give up Danish if they just make the damn thing work (im danish) why cant i just use Siri in English om my Apple TV ? ohh no you cant because it is in a different region... so you cant.. you see... but yes it would be nice if it would work in danish as well.
but siri has so many flaws.
I call my Girlfriend/wife EVERY day, her name is Katrine - I have not in the past 3 years called another contact Named "Katrine - old work" ... guess who SIRI think i want to call every time

Siri will support danish on Apple TV later this year.I'm from Denmark and we had to go the Google Home way years ago, the HomePod will arrive years to late for our home sometime in 2023
I do however have the latest 2021/22 ATVs and we still can't use Siri when using the Danish ATV settings, come on Apple you are just too slow.
You can use Siri in English on your atv now, or maybe next update it works on the tvOS beta at leastfor all I care they can give up Danish if they just make the damn thing work (im danish) why cant i just use Siri in English om my Apple TV ? ohh no you cant because it is in a different region... so you cant.. you see... but yes it would be nice if it would work in danish as well.

Just try two as a stereo pair. They will sound much more than twice as good.Tried one in an Apple Store one day. Can't say I was impressed.
Never heard the original HomePod, but my guess is they sounded (a lot) better?
The most funny part is that that is exactly what Danish sounds like.🤣 Absolutely NO idea what's going on, but it's still funny!
It could be complete gobbledygook for all I know; I have NO idea what is being said, or if it’s even actual Danish! 🤣The most funny part is that that is exactly what Danish sounds like.
Siri can barely understand English. My HomePod just learned how to say “Cuff It” (Beyonce song) instead of calling it “Cuff I.T.” as it usually did in the past 😂No, sadly. I live in Denmark. - I think it is a Siri issue. Siri has to learn to speak (more) Danish in order to be used as you can do in English and other "big" languages. We have the same situation with Siri on the Apple TV 4K. Does not work in Danish. The same goes for the "Scribble" feature on the various devices.
However, it is possible to buy Homepod Mini in Denmark anyway. Some Internet shops imports them from our next door naigbour, Germany. So we have them in our house. Super sound for such small devices.
It’s “æble” - the æ is long and pronounced like the e in “extra”, and the e is short and sounds like the u in “curfew”.TIL that the Danish word for "Apple" is "Kob."
Yes. We all speak Danish, English, German, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Hindu and three distinct dialects of Navajo.I've seen Borgen, The Bridge and The Killing and it's clear that Danes can speak like 20 languages fluently so don't need a Danish version of Siri or any of the voice assistant.
