HomePod HomePod Mini Pre-order status/tracking

I ordered 2 HomePod Minis in the UK on pre-order day. Initially they were due to arrive on Wednesday 18th, but last night I got shipping confirmation and they arrived first thing this morning! A nice surprise!
Sounds quality is very good - not to the level of the standard HomePod of course, but that is expected. The volume was what surprised me most at first - very loud for the size of it and no distortion at high volume.
I got two to add to my HomePod and have all three in different rooms. Very impressed at the speed and ease that you can share music throughout selected rooms.
I have the previous generation Echo dot to compare to and HomePod Mini is in a completely different league (as you would hope for twice the price).

I know this is kind of off-topic what do you think do you think I should try and get my big HomePod fixed? It got bricked by that one software update that was bricking HomePods
Unfortunately Royal Mail did not deliver mine today. Fortunately my local Apple Store had them in stock.

Mine has arrived, and setup was simple!
got 2 as a stereo pair. Had thought that photos and general queries would play out as a stereo pair too, but sadly just music, podcasts and Apple TV audio.
how do we enable Dolby Amos? The HomePod Mini’s did a software update, but can’t see the option in Apple TV settings.

I placed 2 orders back to back. The first one shows shipped and is showing up in my FedEx account but for delivery on 19th instead of 17th. My second order has not even shipped even though I placed the order immediately after the first.
You are right. Moments ago I received shipping notification of my second order. The funny thing is it is also FedEx and says it will deliver the day before the first! LOL!
I was able to just change the quantity in my basket to '2', rather than process each separately which I guess is what made sure they turned up together.
As long as they show up though - that's all that matters!
I know this off-topic again, I was just wondering whoever had a bricked HomePod the big version how much it cost to have it fixed, since I know my is out of warranty
I ordered mine from Best Buy for shipment on 11/16. I received an email last night that it was shipped via UPS yesterday, and the Best Buy app says they will be delivered today....but the UPS app says its waiting for the package and has an estimated delivery date of Wednesday. I'm guessing it will be the latter
Well if it’s over $99 to repair almost worth it to get a mini instead. If you have had it for years already. I read that bricked homepods out of warranty are like $280
I think its better just for them to swap for a brand new one since that is kind of alot for a repair for a $300 speaker
Dolby Atmos isn't supported on the Mini as it requires multiple speakers to work. The mini only has one.
Don't know I might order another mini after a while and since you know if you have two in the same room it makes it a stereo sound. Just see how i like this one at first
