HomePod HomePod unavailable in Home app.

    Hi all,

    New to forum, bought a HomePod and i’m unable to use the home app and it’s just shows at Unavailable all the time.

    I have reset the HomePod, restarted the router just unable to do anything via the Home app.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    I get my HomePod tomorrow but have already set up my home details in advance and it works well with Siri - I’m hoping to introduce my I phone to the HomePod and home will automatically work as the Home hub. But will report back tomorrow and let you know. Let me know if you get it sorted in the mean time - good luck

    Do you live in a place that has two Home app accounts (in my case I and my partner have separate Apple IDs and I had trouble setting it up)? Or perhaps you have more than one WiFi network?
