So all the people who had their phones shipped out days and days ago had them stuck in Louisville. My phone shipped out on Wednesday morning and mine is in Louisville right now just like everyone elses.

Some of the screenshots posted show "special instructions: signature required". My tracking info doesn't show this. does this mean i don't have to be there to sign?
Someone has to be there, or you can try the "note on the door" trick discussed a lot. If you ordered through Apple go find your order and you can print out a release form to leave on your door.

I just posted this in the other thread:

If you check on flightstats.com, it looks like UPS has a whole bunch of flights leaving from Louisville between 2-5 AM today and a few more from 2:30-6:30 PM. The one that makes the most sense to me left at 4:16 AM today, but maybe it's really not going to leave until tomorrow morning.

How do you look up such info?

Lucky! Check iShip and it might say where your phone is headed. Are you west coast?

Checked iShip.com and it's headed for Akron, Ohio. I'm from Northeast Ohio so it's right on track. Now I just hope they are able to process my deliver to another address request in time!

I still think it's BS that they won't hold these for pickup.

I'm going to be stuck driving to a UPS center to get my phone anyway since I work all day -- the least they could do would be to let me get it in the morning BEFORE work rather than fighting rush-hour traffic after work to pick it up.

Agreed. I have one about 10 minutes from my job. I'd love to get it before work.

so there are no UPS flights going anywhere near me from KY... Kinda makes me sad lol

They could be landing somewhere close and then sending them via truck the rest of the way. Also, did you check multiple time periods on that site?

i looked at all the available departures but i know they only list about ~12hrs worth of flights. maybe it'll be an early flight in the morning. i didn't see any flights headed for southeastern airports except florida.
