I removed the line gs.apple.com in my host file that was redirecting to cydia, reboot computer, and it should work like a charm.
Thanks for replying.

Is this out yet? I'm here waiting for the 5.0 jailbreak.
Still looks like 5.0 users will have to wait a bit.
is this still coming out?
I gotta be honest. I'm baffled at the sense of entitlement in the community.
The devs worked hard to get this untethered 5.0.1 jailbreak, yet you are too darn busy to just upgrade and reinstall your tweaks? It literally takes 30 min even if you have lots of tweaks, and many files can just be copied back and forth via SSH.
Just upgrade already and call it a day. In the time you've spent posting complaining about it you could have been there and done it.
It was written on the blog IN 2011 that a 5.0 untether package would be released. Why would it be written if it was going to be released.
Not my cup of tea to spend hours of research to make sure every configuration will be right, a tether JB works fine for now, to upgrade and everything to change is a risky and quite frankly a foolish proposition.
Sense of entitlement? How so?

A few people whine and complain for the untether JB and you overgeneralize it to everyone, pathetic.
Yeah!!! Where's our Hax0rz???? If someone blogged it, it must happen - and exactly when they said it would! Nothing can change from their plan - NOTHING!!!
Grab your torch and pitchforks everyone - we're going on a witch hunt!
Risky: Running a phone outwith its supported configuration, voiding any warranty you have with the manufacturer.
Foolish: Don't get me started.
Rather than keeping this thread alive with updates of 'nothing yet', why not either let it die until something DOES happen, or better still, go hack it yourself? There are people here who feel it's their right to have something which has been blogged/said/uttered and you are just fuelling the fire.
