Honestly, the scene doesn't need comments like that...
Its the fact that the dev team wrote on their blog that the 5.0 untether package will be released in the next few days. Its January 12 and nothing has happened.
Of course the dev team doesn't owe anything to us, but misleading us with a blog post can not be justified.

I'm not in a rush, already have 5.0 tethered jailbroken.
Blog mentioned released in a few days from Dec 27th. It doesn't take a dumbass to know that Jan 12 is over 2 weeks away. Completely overlooking the blog post and jumping to conclusions. Pathetic.

Only 5.0.1 corona untether is available in cydia currently
As mentioned before,it seems that 5.0 package may either be released after A5 jailbreak or won't be released at all.

Absinthe A5 is an untethered jailbreak, just released today. It supports 5.0 and 5.0.1.

Hopefully 5.0 untether corona package can be revived and make its way through .
If you update, make sure you download the 9A405_Restore not the 9A406_Restore.
There is a difference in the baseband. I downgraded from 9A406 to 9A405 so hopefully the dev team can unlock that baseband.
Why do people stay on 5.0 for ip4???
Just update to 5.01, if you need unlock, make a custom ipsw with redsn0w and update with that while preserving your 5.0 BB.

I just went ahead and updated to 5.0.1 after my phone cut off one day and I couldnt use it until I got back home to boot tethered
