AxlTJ macrumors regular Jun 25, 2019 #5 Definitely a loose cable and in rare cases, a defective phone screen cable. Once reconnected, the lines should go away after a few hours of use. Did she drop the phone? Bump it? It's pretty easy to fix actually.
