Using Vision Pro as a Mac monitor is one of the top reasons I am saving to buy Vision Pro at launch. I bought a Mac Studio just because I knew that Vision Pro probably wouldn't support my iMac Intel. In the meantime, I will use a cheap monitor for my Studio waiting for launch day!
I really hope we'll be able to use this connector to connect VisionPro directly to the Mac to improve the latency, image quality and get all day use (get rid of the battery that offers only 2 hours of life).

Yes I want o use Vision Pro with my MBP as well and I hope too that we will be able to directly connect. I use my desktops more; so, that's why I mentioned Mac Studio.

Too much bandwidth for wireless. I think they could have allowed the mac to project multiple low quality display streams, but only the one you focus at is at 4k.
The concept of a display is now obsolete. Make every window free floating in space.

I think they missed an opportunity here and the AVP will meet the fate of the iPad.

The fate of the iPad? You mean generating an annual revenue stream the size of the Mac revenue stream?
I think Apple would be OK with that...
