-I'm a people pleaser.
-I do things for people in hopes they will be happy.
-I seem to always **** it up.
-I bottle everything up.
-I hit myself.
-I, my friends, am my family's black sheep.

- I am left handed, verses the more popular right.
- I use a Mac rather than a PC,
- I am gay, rather than straight,
- I don't agree with giving cards on occasions because the majority of the time they get trashed soon afterwards, however I don't extend this rule to people who don't know me too well because it may come across as being ignorant!
- I have a very refined taste in clothes and music. I don't mean that in the snobby sense, but in the sense than I am extremely picky about what I like, extremely picky!
- I have a favourite brand of bottled water.
- I have a distinct aftershave which when everyone smells it they know its me.
- I never go into a clothes shop if I am wearing clothes than I bought from it.

Considering this thread was recently revived from 2006, are you still around to read this? :)

Not to start a fight and I ask this in the most friendly of ways :):), do you really think this is what makes you unique? There are probably no less than a million people who share all of these characteristics. :D

I got married after 1.5 months of dating now wife which is funny because i'm much happier then most people i know who dated for years etc.

For every one white person in my family theres two non whites. my wife is thai, brother in laws are black and filipino. (I'm white) so all nieces and nephews are mixed

I prefer cold weather and the rain.

I shower twice before leaving the shower. (2 full cycles)

I drink cheep coffee( the cheaper end of starbucks) unless someone else is buying

when I scrach my nose i use all my knuckles. versus a finger or forearm

I prefer taking public transportation, bus and light rail train, over driving when and where possible.

Wow, what a resurrection of an old thread.

Let's see,

-I am in second oldest age group, sometimes oldest, when asked my age on these forums

-I tend to root for sports teams that are great but find a way of choking at the last possible moment (pre-Montana 49ers but as a secondary team the former LA Rams, Golden State Warriors, Cal in most sports, San Jose Sharks, San Francisco Giants on almost any year except last year). Besides the Giants and their lone San Francisco era World Series win or the odd Golden State run, Cal did have a great year in the NCAA basketball tournament taking the championship but that was before I was born. I am envious of somebody from NYC or the surrounding area who have too many trophies to remember.

-I have been a part-time (mostly) college/uni/grad school student for 30 years for the art of knowledge as a goal, not job training

-I play guitar, but when I didn't do it that much, I collected over 60 of them (OCD probably) ... thankfully got rid of them and can actually play now that I use one instead of worrying about where to store them

I heard the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. My parents have been taking a class almost every semester, or other semester, for longer than I have. My mom only got an associate's out of it and my dad never put his units together to see if he had one. They both use a Mac so they qualify as the atypical "older" Mac user vs. the younger crowd who almost universally seem to want to own a Mac, iPad, iPod, and/or iPhone. My dad sometimes plays harmonica, but he has a giant collection of them, some which have never been played for more than a few songs. This is where the OCD may have come from. ;)

I try not to strive to be individual or as different as I can be. Wait, does that make me individual or different? Damn.
