What is Apple adding to justify an increase? I know some will say camera and 5G, but 5G is sporadic and the cameras were top notch last year.

Apple missed the boat on-
Massive notch reduction or finger print hole or Touch ID inside phone
120 HZ

For an 11 Pro Max owner, it is a no thanks for me.

So you magically know all the details of the upcoming iPhone 12? Also I don't think you realize how much technology is in the notch, there's a whole array of gear in there.

It’s down to preference. I’d rather have cloud storage than physical storage which is why I get the 64GB model iPhones rather than the 128GB and so forth. There is no right answer, it’s personal preference.

We can agree to disagree. I have always bought the smallest capcity as I dont need more. I have zero music or movies on mt phone

But right now Im using 39gb of 64gb just on the basics- system and apps. I have one big game that is 3gb, but everything else is run of the mill apps most people have too.

And right now my system is 9.75gb, and "other" 14.67gb.

64gb base storage is no longer acceptable if the OS is getting that bloated. Part of the issue is iOS keeps getting larger which is not the user's choice. The OS shouldn't be 15-20% of the storage you paid for. Imagine if you bought a 512gb laptop but windows took up 80-100gb of that; it woulnt be acceptable.

128gb should be the bare minimum if the OS alone is 10gb.

If you dont like their prices, you dont buy. It's pretty simple to be honest. These days, chips are amazingly fast. I dont get why people need to update their phones every year. At the end of the day, it's just a phone.

While the tech is pretty mature, it’s all but just a phone. Mobile devices are pocketable computers that do plenty other things, plus phone calls. It’s likely the main, as in most used, computer interface for many millions of people.

It is the ONLY personal computing device used by millions in both the developed and developing worlds.

Yea even when I had flip phones, they still had a decent amount of apps like calculator clock snake etc... Internet was crappy Media Net though. Internet didn't get great until actual smartphones came.
