The numbers are officially in for today

Usage: 8:40

Standby: 13:40

That's a huge improvement over yesterday's numbers which were

Usage: 6:30

Standby: 9:30

*Remember, I even live streamed the GOP debate today (albeit on Wifi). So I'm not sure why I got such better battery life. I thought the streaming of the debate live would really hurt the battery life for today. Had I not done that, I bet the battery life would've been even better.

I will say that doesn't sound normal. I generally eat 10-12%/hour of web browsing.

Do you do most of your web browsing on a weak signal? That could be your problem. The browser uses more battery while loading pages.
That's a key thing that often goes unmentioned. Signal strength can make a HUGE difference.

I'm make note of my battery life for one more day. I hope it is as good as yesterday. My guess would be yes.

I promised to update today's use so here it is.

9 hours use. 13 standby.

That's 2 great days. I'm happy with my battery.

This thread is solved.

Thanks.

How?

Is the 1.9h of Safari on screen since you unplugged, or is part of that 24 hours from a previous charge?

I can't get anywhere close to this kind of usage. 2h of safari takes me to 60% or so.

Check the second image, time since last full charge adds up to about 12 hours. There is 12 hours unaccounted for when you are focusing on the on screen usage details for Safari and other apps.

Hi!

What settings do you disabled or changed to achieve this duration?

Regards.
