Does this meet your standard of proof?

That doesn't say anything about how you bent it, or if it was bent since the beginning (manufacturer defect)....

----------

And how is someone going to show you that exactly?

The same way idiotic YouTubers made several videos about bending the iPhone pushing with two thumbs on a single spot while pulling the edges with two hands......

Why there isn't anyone putting the iPhone on the front pocket and bending it?

----------

So the claim is that:

The phone was straight to begin with.

The user put the phone in a pocket, like they would with any mobile device.

Conducted their normal daily activities which may include repeated sitting/standing/crouching/moving and removing the phone from the pocket over a period of time.

After that time, the phone was not straight.

There is no recollection of any bumping, prying or impacts that may have cause the deformation.
That's my point.
The iPhone is a thin device. You keep it in your front pocket. You lean on a table and inadvertently put pressure on your phone. You realize the phone is slightly bent and don't know how it happened.
Just an hypothesis, but a valid one.

Totally different than forcibly bending videos and you know that. You are asking for proof of something which can't be shown via the internet, and saying that the argument is settled because it is not provided. You are denser than I thought.

You're so full of it and have no idea what you're talking about. I was not "extremely negligent" with my phone. It bent fairly easily from being in my front pocket.

Please prove me a phone could bend by keeping in a front pocket.
Until that moment, I'd continue to think it's just impossible to bend a piece of aluminum and glass in a pocket.

No one can prove that because the iPhone 6 doesn't bend in your pocket....

how can you bend your iPhone 6 under normal usage

Consumer Reports tested out six smartphones — the iPhone 5, 6, and 6 Plus, the Samsung Galaxy Note, the LG G3, and the HTC One (M8). The iPhone 6 and HTC One bent first at 70 pounds of force. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure my jean pockets aren’t THAT strong. Maybe everyone’s just wearing superjeans or something, I don’t know.

The Samsung Galaxy Note was the strongest of the bunch and didn’t deform until 150 pounds, but it’s worth noting that the iPhone 5 didn’t bend till 130 pounds.

Moral of the story: Your phone is probably fine. #Bendgate is all in your head. And if 70 pounds of force just happen to brutalize your phone, Apple will replace it for you as long as the phone passes inspection — no harm, no foul.

I carry my phone in my front pants pocket. I can think of lots of ways it might bend.

-it's not seated properly in my pocket and torques against a hip while bending.
-my son sits on my lap
-my son kicks me while I'm carrying him
-I lean up to a mirror to pick something out of my teeth.

I never thought about my 4 bending and it never did. I don't trust the 6 to nearly the same extent.

This is getting bad. Mine bent from not even touching it. I left it on a desk not bent for days and came back and it had bent itself.

hey guys
i have been using my iPhone 6 for 3 weeks now and it's straight as hell...no signs of any deformation. And yes, it's been in my front pocket most of the time.
I'm starting to wonder how anyone could bend their iPhone 6 under normal usage. To be honest, I can't think of any way how this could possibly happen

Same here. Had since day one no bend. And i went to the heat / wizards game the other night. Was carrying food drink and tickets in hand. Phone in back pocket. Sat on (first time). Thoroughly examined the next day. Phone is still perfectly straight. No case either.

I have a 6+ and in some pants it's a snug fit when siting down. I'm not going to out of my way to try to bend this thing.

Lay it on the other side and watch it bend itself back into shape?

I know of at least a hundred folks who have both the iPhone 6 and 6 plus and NONE of them have had any issue of bending the device.

What amazes me is all it takes is for one person out of the millions of devices that are made to have an issue and its front page news.

Sometimes I think there are folks out there who have nothing better to do with their time then to find fault with a product.

I strongly think you quoted the wrong person about that

The iPhone 4 was plagued by several rear glass breaks, like any other phones with glass backplate.
You just need to know what are you keeping in your pockets.
