None taken at all tallguy, that wasn't directed at you. And I know that li-ion/poly batteries can take a serious beating. I have several old phones including a t68i that must be ten years old or so, with the original battery, that still holds a very decent charge. So I fully understand your point.

I'm just relaying info from elsewhere that I personally try to keep in mind, that's all.

It really depends on where I am. At home I generally charge it on a speaker dock, either in the bed room or kitchen, but if I want it next to me in the living room I plug it into the iPad charger. I don't have a charger on my side of the bed right now but generally I'm between 40-60% charged when I go to bed. At work I have a USB port on my machine that is powered even if the machine is off, so I generally use that to charge up during the day when I'm at my desk. I also have car chargers available in both my vehicles.

At home, on my night stand next to my bed at night (mostly) or if I don't need it or don't feel like it, I'll wait till the next day and charge via USB on my desktop at work. I stay away from charging it in the car and I only use apple cables/charging units.

Wall charger behind my bed almost 24/7,I don't leave the house a whole lot so it never really drains past...40%. Lowest it ever been was 5%

LOL I just picture some dude sitting up at night in a dark room looking at their iPhone waiting for 100% so they can pull it off of the charger immediately! :D

I do that too. :D

For some reason we have a power outlet in the middle of our living room, it's placed nicely between our sofas, so we usually sit down and use our devices while they're charging with ease.

Otherwise I charge it using my MBP and then pull it when I need it or the port.
