How do you cut your sandwhich.

I remember one day in kindergarten at lunch my little friends and I compared how our sandwiches were cut.

Do you cut your sandwhich.... (this is normal bread, not a fancy roll)

-Across, from the spot between the two lumps down to the other end

-Diagonally, from one corner of the bread to the other

-I do not cut it at all

I will cut if if it's grilled cheese. If it is tempeh salad, I do not cut.

Diagonally all the way! I'll even do it both ways so it results in 4 triangles if I'm feeling particularly juvenile. I think the triangular shape makes it taste better.

I'm going to make a sandwich for lunch soon...I just have to decide what to put in it.

Usually, my method of cutting sandwhiches is this, "Boyfriend's name, will you make me a sandwhich, too?"

But if he's not handy, then I'll either cut it across (if it's a PBJ sandwhich) or leave it be (don't want to further cut the tomatoes, doncha know).

Real men don't cut sandwiches... but I usually cut across... so there's 1/2 waiting for the kids/wife to say "oh - that looks nice - can I try some!" 🙄

I find the stuffing falls out with a diag-cut

Im going with the ultra manly number 3. And I also take HUGE bites and dont swallow the first bite until the next bite is already in my mouth. Sometimes I choke, but I'm always able to cough it out in the nic of time. Except for this one time, a guy had to do a tracheotomy on me in th middle of a restaurant. He used a pen. Hurt like a mofo. Now I have to wear a turtle neck all the time, even in summer, no matter how hot, to cover the scar. It was a blue pen. Mont Blanc, I think. So anywho... #3.

I was surprised that there wasn't a fourth option (horizontal cut). I generally don't cut my sandwiches (makes them a pain to wrap up for lunch), unless there's lots of stuff in there and then I'll just pretty much take a random hack at it with the meat cleaver (vertical, horizontal or diagonal).

Diagonally or no cut at all. My mom used to cut it diagonally so I guess I just do it because I grew up eating it that way. I get lazy and dont feel like cutting it.
