How do you deal with the 3G's glossy plastic back?

I've had a rubber skin on mine since 2 minutes after I bought it. Forgot it even had a glossy back

As you can see, people are capable of "dealing" with this horrid problem.

That's a good question, and you're absolutely right. It would be quite silly to be so rude to someone who doesn't like fingerprints. But that's not actually why some (many?) people here dislike the OP so much. The real reason, I think, can be found here.

I didn't create this thread to annoy people. I wanted to hear how others are dealing with stuff I was dealing with. I'm kinda interested in the feather case. Is it hard plastic or does it have a rubbery feel to it?

Also, I find it hard to believe that I'm the only one who hates fingerprints on the back when I have enough to deal with on the front as it is. For now though, I've switched back to my original iPhone because it will make me happier until a new iPhone comes out (I hope it's not glossy).

Also, I'm sorry that my threads have caused the majority of you so much stress.

Incipio Feather case for the back. Matte black.

I have one too. It is hard matte hard rubber. Similar in feel to the incase slider but so much thinner. Doesn't add any bulk to the phone.

I've gone back to my first gen iPhone (but, I'm still paying for the 3G data plan because I'm not sure how long I'll stick with this iPhone). Do you think I could get in trouble for doing that?... I mean, paying AT&T too much money when I should be giving them $10 less each month?

Spaz get the Capsule Rebel case. It doesn't add much bulk to it, but gives you a grippier (without feeling all rubbery like silicone skins) back and side surface that doesn't show or care about skin oils.

Ah, okay. I just looked up a review of that case and it makes the iPhone look huge. I think I'll just stick with my first gen for as long as I can stand for now. If 3.0 comes out and there's a ton of features missing for the original iPhone, I'll pick up my 3G again... until then. I'm out!

Sure, it can be annoying at times and what not - but all theSpaz wants is for us to be as into Apple stuff as he is.
