Most people here dump on Android, so why expect anything different from Android fans?
The fact of the matter is that iPhones don't do anything 'better' anymore. They're pretty much like for like these days. Get used to Android over the course of 12 months, then switch to iOS and you'll find that you miss certain things. The same is true if you make the opposite switch. Most operating system fans are accustomed to a certain way of doing things, and anything else is 'bad'. Android is great these days, and so are the iPhone-comparable top of the line handsets. They're probably better in fact, but iOS will always have fans because of the integration and 'one world' ecosystem of Apple. The bottom line is to buy what you like and don't care what anyone else thinks. It's your phone, your money and derogatory opinions are childish.

Just keep reverting back to the rough touch response and that their OS won't work well no matter how much specs they throw at it.

Thats their weak spot and source of insecurity.

It's funny that you think there's no iPhone users that do the same thing.

Please point out where I said that exactly.

Well said, I don't dump on any Android users for choosing Android. I mean Android has it's perks and I can see why it would appeal to some users. Google does do some things better than Apple. Google maps is one of them, I prefer it over Apple maps any day.

Now that the iPhone 6 and 6+ have been announced, all these Android users want to brag about how their phone had it first.

Applepay copied Google Wallet.
Reachability? Had that for months.
Wi-Fi Calling? Had that for months too.

Then they show me stupid pictures like this.

Like I seriously don't care what features their phone had first. How do you deal with this stupidity?

If you really care about what others think about the phone you chose for your purposes and everyday use you might have a problem. Choose the item that best suits your needs and be done with it.

I don't. I don't have to. I am secure enough in my decision house iPhone and iOS instead of Android and thats enough for me.

if you use general common sense, and have even just a moderate understanding of smartphones, you will understand everything that is wrong with that picture.

And if people don't, they're android users.

Surely you wouldn't point out your own hypocrisy..that's why I posted what I did in response to what you did say.

Let's clear this right now. Are you saying there's no iPhone users that constantly talk about how much worse Android is than iOS? I see more than a handful in this thread alone..

I say I'm so happy for you and your superior phone. I'm sorry about your penis.

Yes, that applies equally to people from each side of the argument...Windows, Android, iOS and maybe even some misguided souls out there still hanging onto their Blackberry for dear life.

In fact, I would say the same thing to the thread starter when he decides to counter these people he's talking about with why HIS phone is better and their's really isn't.

Although android has all these features its not a solid OS and most of the devices aren't so great either. My S5 for example needs to be put in airplane mode constantly to restart my cell service. I also have to restart my phone because it begins to lag after a while. On iOS i had no issues software side and barely any with the hardware.

There are a lot of features I wish Apple would directly copy from Android. I personally don't care and I have no emotional investment with these companies or what people try to translate into morals which is actually just businesses doing business.

People act like Apple, Samsung, Google etc are a single entity like a person then judge them as such. Google isn't leaning over in class looking at Apples answers on a quiz, and Apple isn't stealing cash out of the register at GoogleMart.

Get over yourselves. Its businesses competing for your money. They only care about you as long as they can make a profit from you. If they can't then you are completely useless to them.

I don't really care, it's just annoying. I'm just seeing how others deal with it.

I'm not saying iPhone users don't bash on Android users because they very much do. I was just merely asking members, how do they deal with Android users that like to brag about features their phones had before the iPhone and how the iPhone suck cause it's "just" getting it now. I've already admitted myself ITT that Google does certain things better. I don't bash on Galaxy users when a new Galaxy S or Note is announced. Quite frankly, I don't even pay attention to their releases. It seems to be the opposite for Android users though (in my personal experiences).

I don't. Just ignore the losers.

I don't consider myself an Apple or Android fanboy... but when you see posts like this that make fun of Apple and iPhones, you should be flattered.

You can't even watch TV without seeing an ad of some inferior company COMPARING their products to Apple. Whether it's a Windows phone making fun of what Siri can't do. Or a Samsung commercial comparing their device multitasking capabilities to that of the iPhone...

The bottom line is that everyone has to COMPARE themselves to the leader. And that is Apple's iPhone.

Omg I have to do that all the time with my S4!

I seriously don't see why people are stting here talking about "execution" and "doing it better". iOS has never looked and functioned more like Android. But I digress. Proof in the pudding that people need to justify their purchases however they can. Apple fanatics are no different than their Android counterparts. They all tend to regurgitate the same half truths about their chosen product.

It will be fun to see NFC actually FINALLY take off with Apple using it, partially because they designed a slick system, and partially because Apple has the inertia to get that sort of thing done. What will the Android fans say about their four year old NFC that they have used MAYBE half a dozen times because it didn't take off until Apple took the wheel?
And this is my point with the "execution" comment. I like Android and I really can't imagine how Apple can do "7x0p display" and "battery stats" right. I certainly don't think Android did them "wrong". However, NFC on Android was more of a novelty. ApplePay is actually pretty promising and with pretty major partners at launch, it's gearing to be much more successful than the lacklustre Passbook.

I've gotten immune to trolls from years of tuning it out... that being said, the OP's image is probably right in some ways. I wouldn't be surprised if wireless charging is touted on the iPhone 7.

Just because someone else did it first doesn't mean they did it well. :p

Sure, but almost nobody is citing NFC as "better execution". Most of the people in thi very thread are talking about screen size. Makes little sense to me.

FWIW various Android manufacturers have already done battery life better, likely even than the 6 Plus. And yet that is dismissed by most (since it doesn't fit the argument).

There's only a few options...it all depends on how much you care, and you do care. Let's be honest. This thread is because you care enough that you want a rebuttal for when the subject arises.

If you really want something to say, you tell them that they're right. Telling them what Apple had before them isn't going to help. Telling them that Apple "does it better" is pretentious.

I've always been on Android...I've never been against iOS, but like many iOS users I just got used to my Android OS and stuck with it. As an Android user I'm happy that the iPhone has pushed the manufacturers to raise the bar year after year on my OS. As an iOS user, there's some things that you could surely thank Android and it's manufacturers for as far as evolving the iPhone is concerned. If for some reason I had to have this conversation with someone in real life, that's what I'd tell them...I'd say they both make each other better and competition only results in a win for the consumer.

Define "major partners" please.

...How do you deal with this stupidity?

You don't. You acknowledge they have a good point, tip your hat and enjoy your iPhone 6.

I've been here a long time. I can still remember the Android hate for their huge devices, and how the iPhone was "perfect" because how it was designed to be used one handed. Oh those wacky Android users and their huge phones...

...I wonder what all those haters are saying now? I guess since Apple finally decided to join the big phone party, NOW it's ok to have a big phone...
