iPad How do you "organise" your iPad?

All apps on one page, with most used apps on the main page and overflow in a single folder, organized by most to least used apps from first to last folder page.

I love having bright vivid backgrounds. Makes me happy! As for organization, I put all the apps I use on a regular basis on the first home screen not in folders. I hate having to open a folder to get an app. I used to be all about organizing by type. For example, I put the iHeartRadio app in my Media folder. But I opened it every morning when I got ready for work, as opposed to Netflix/Hulu/FoodNetwork which I would occasionally use at night. One day I realized that was dumb so not the app is right on my home screen. I use folders a lot though for other stuff.

2 pages, the first one is all I use for working, the second one all I use for other things

I recently rearranged it. Apps in folders are those which I prefer to keep together because they serve a similar purpose, it has nothing to do with how much I use them
It's an ipad air 2 btw

I only have 12 apps. I've only screwed with the bottom row of the first page and the dock. These are my apps, since there's only 12. Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Boom Beach, Speedtest, BaconReader, YouTube, Google Inbox, ProTube, Microsoft Word, Purify, Netflix, and Amazon Instant Video.

I have around 60 applications on my iPhone, though. That's where my more "scattered" use is, along with social media. My iPad is for just those games, Reddit, Safari, YouTube, and Netflix. Much more specific, but pretty much THE things that you want a larger screen for.

2 page setup for me... No folders on first page, all folders on 2nd page.. Keep the same setup on both phone and iPad

Main screen = most used apps
2nd page = folders of categories. News, Shopping, Weather, Photography, Movies, Games, etc.

nothing past page 2.

I'm a one page guy, iPhone and iPad both.
Background is black, I like my iPad as much distraction free as possible. I have 11 apps in my home screen and 2 folders.
I have one folder for games and comics (when the kids are waiting longer than is expected that is a nice to have) and with Spotify (I got a "free" premium from my ISP for being a client for a long time and I like the service, much more then I expected). The second folder is with everything else that is rarely used but I can't do without when I need them.
Or can't be deleted. I dislike that last category. Just make it an option in settings like the iCloud Drive app...

This is interesting. Never thought of the 2 page thing really before, I tend to split my front page 50% commonly used app icons and 50% themed folders. To minimise swiping in those folders the most commonly used apps are shuffled to the beginning of the folder in question.

Then anything I download that hasn't been filed into its' proper place appears on page 2, which is sort of the "unprocessed" dump.

Only problem with this is choosing categories. I might sub categorise games on page 2 though, that'd make more sense than an infinitely swiping folder! :D

I have 170 apps spread out over 10 pages, I should really organize them into folders, and after reading this I just might do that. But so far I have just either scrolled through the pages, or searched for what I need.

Let me preface this by saying I don't have a ton of apps on my iPad. I'm not big on games, and am just now starting to add productivity apps since purchasing my iPP.

I have folders. I have productivity, camera/video, game, news/entertainment, and work folders. I keep the apps I use every day in my dock. If I wind up with too many different things in one folder, I'll split the stuff and break it down into more specific ones.

I'm fairly OCD and like my devices to be organized like the rest of my life is (most of the time).

Always hated more than one screen - have always had the spring board full with the most often used apps and had basically the same set of folders since my very first iPad 2, whenever the folders first became available in iOS...here it is:

I don't use very many apps, so the most used are in the dock or on the main page. Everything else is organized in just a few folders.

I used to organise, but now I just use spotlight.

Me too. I put frequently used apps on the home page. Less frequently used apps on the next page and everything finds its own way to the other pages. I used to try to organize better but I have too many other things to worry about to remember where I organized things. Now anything I can't see quickly I just call up with Spotlight or Siri. The next problem is remembering the names of rarely used apps.

Only had it a couple of days but this is what it's likely to stay like (other than the bg and the "adventure time" spacer folder. Probably don't need a folder for that. XD)
